Yeah what you can do if you are sure you won't catch up is just do a quick tap on m1 (if mouse) and then go to your charge1 -

UPDATE: To reproduce this bug you should get pallet stunned as you do your charge attack. You will not have your ability until you do a normal m1.1 -

The restriction on DC's has been raised I think. So if you play good survivors just leave to find another match. Babies.1
