It's hardly a commitment though. The movement speed penalty is virtually zero, and the time to either enter or exit Shred is of similar insignificance to Demogorgon's positioning.6 -

Both of those are false. Portal cooldown is obscenely short and Shred is one of the easiest abilities to hit mechanically. Its hitbox is huge, and the charge time/movement speed penalties are virtual…8 -
