No in my scenario the survivor earns their escape if they and their team stall the killer long enough to open the gate and leave by the time the third gets caught and hooked. Nowhere did I say it sho…5 -

If that's "unhealthy" to you then the survivors are equally at fault since they are also the ones perpetuation the only real win condition being a 4K in the scenario/example given.6
