The point is never locking quitters in a match, but rather, simply banning them altogether, there is no way BHVR won't continually improve it as it's equivalent of anti-cheat0 -

I'd rather let them actually take penalty with griefing(obvious griefing) than not taking any penalty at all for griefing(literally how self sacrifice work for today)-2 -

But then you'll do same with sounds anyway, it's directional and changes in volume, should be same amount of information as simply seeing totem aura-2
