Its literally part of the definition of their power, and in the case of wesker he is literally designed to automatically hit a survivor if they are close to the vault. That is the design of his power…2 -

The other way around also has no counterplay. If you can just revault the pallet then vaulting the pallet becomes useless. At least with this at shorter loops survivors have time to get around to the…2 -
