You're very creative. I like the idea, other than someone being broken at the start. Maybe it could be a hex totem and the person to break the lit totem, becomes broken for a set time.1 -

Maybe it is skill, like GoodboyKaru says. I watch Ohmwrecker a lot and I've seen him get it to work multiple times. And he often goes against high rank killers.1
