I think it was some bug that caused Sadako to be invisible, similar to the Wesker and Dredge bugs not too long ago. Not sure at all how it worked but I remember seeing something about that.1 -

They definitely went way too overboard on the nerf. I think they could probably safely make it to where it's not a hex anymore and only deactivates when a survivor is dead or bring up the regres…1
