I can see why newer players could think this way not always knowing the design idea of it. Maybe it’s a mentality thing where some see it active and feel it must be used or it’s a wasted perk.1 -

Survivor - play around and don’t care about dying. Learn the maps and objectives getting used to the game. Don’t rely on any perk and don’t get angry if you are camped or be toxic to the other side. …1 -

With the new matchmaking rank won't matter so in your case you would probably be matched with more red rank. In this case I don't see an issue as you clearly aren't a true rank 17 much…6 -

I bought it as I like Ash. The character is what sold it for me. His perks are meh but anyone who had played DBD before he was released should have known MoM would receive a nerf.2
