IS THERE A WAY TO GET INFO ABOUT A BAN (NOT FOR MYSELF)

Please note im not here to apply or to ask to be unban since this isnt my account but i did come to ask info about a ban. So yesterday i was at my friend house (sleepover)and playing dead by daylight with him to complete the rift or at least the survivor side (we were playing swf). Everything was fine, we mange to complete all the task you can as a survivor. We log off and everything was fine. The next day when we went on your computers my friend got an info from steam saying he had be ban by the devs (not a vac ban but a game ban). He went into dbd to check to see if there would be info about the ban cuz on steam its say info about game ban is only displayed ingame and not on steam but when he got into dbd he couldnt find any info of getting banned or why he got banned. He cant create lobbies for survivor or custom game but he can play killer which is weird. It does say on his steam profile he has a game ban now. Please note he has only change 1 file and that was to turn off vsync and to give him more than 60 frames nothing else. Is there a way to get info of the ban like why he got it and if its permanent or not (on steam it says the game bans are depending on what the dev thought u deserved)
