I have to admit, even though I love playing this game, I take frequent breaks. Sometimes it's a week, sometimes a month. Had a 2 month hiatus and I found it easy to get back into it again.

I wanted to know how the rest of the player base feels? Sometimes it's good to have a break if you get frustrated. Do you find it easy to get back into the game again after a break?

Let me know if I should add another option :)

    I used to play like 5+ games every day, but then I started to lose the motivation to come back and keep playing. As it is right now I might play a game or 2 every week.

    I used to play every day, for about a year and a half, but I’m on a long break right now. Got burnt out playing the rift. Hit lvl 70 and haven’t touched the game since.

    Forums are still fun, but I’m not sure when I’ll return to the game. Maybe when the next rift begins.

    I only take breaks from playing killer. I switch to survivor when I start to get burned out.

    Any game can get frustrating, and playing something every day burns me out really quickly. I recently took about a month off as I went home for the holidays to spend time with family and friends who don't play DBD (as well as to work on my massive backlog of unplayed Steam games). It was a nice break and I'm excited to play again with fresh eyes 😊

    I play pretty regularly, at least a few times a week. I also moderate for a couple of Twitch streamers who also play DBD daily, my son also plays daily - and we discuss things daily, plus working for BHVR and DBD in particular, my whole life pretty much revolves around the game in one way or another, and I wouldn't have it any different at this stage!

    Not really my choice. Life has kind of gotten in my way these past few months (of course, almost as soon as the Archives came out. I was stuck on the 2nd part well after the 4th opened).

    currently on hiatus after completing the rift the end of december. I usually take 3-4 a year. A couple weeks to a month or two.

    I do that quite often too. I'm really bad for playing almost everyday and then just stoping for like 3 months.

    I'm regularly on forums too, it's fun and good to be up to date when I start playing again.

    I'm very similar but I'm on a bit of a hiatus at the minute and trying to get back into it again. I only tend to play this game late evening and nights but with work lately it's not been possible.

    I'm also one of those people who won't bother playing if I only have an hour spare, I like to have at least a few hours in a gaming session.

    I'm pretty similar, still haven't completed the rift myself and trying to get out of my current 3 month hiatus.

    The rift grind especially at the end really zapped me. They need to have double xp weekends or gain some bonus for each tome completed.

    I'm currently on leave, have been since mid December. I just can't find any enjoyment right now. I hope I do in the future; Apex and Overwatch are getting boring, with a sliver of State of Decay 2.

    Wish I could play more, but the game gives me terrible anxiety to the point where my throat tightens up.
