The new ruin makes survivors genrush
Hey, ruin makes survivors genrush.. Why?
Well, when you are playing survivor and there's a ruin, why would you leave the generator early in the game? The gen will regress and it's not optimal leaving it.
Yeah, you will cleanse the totem if you randomly find it, but if you are on a gen with ruin active, there's no reason to go and find it if the killer is chasing someone else.

You know what else makes survivors gen-rush? A rise in campers and tunnellers.
This argument is a 2-way street.

Umm so did old ruin, you just need to be good at hitting skill checks. So neither stopped gen rush for good experienced players

I wasn't talking about that in my post, i was just saying that threre's no use for ruin early game, it makes things worse honestly.

I was saying, the new ruin make things worse, you won't get off the gen for cleansing a totem or do somethign else, you will just stick to that gen till it's over because of the regression

That's why I only consider new Ruin decent only in very specific builds like Prayer Beads Spirit/Class Photo Freddy with Surveillance.

Umm ok but I gave you a simple answer to the start of your post. Old ruin didn’t stop gen rush either so why even post about if people know that new ruin doesn’t stop gen rush as well?

Is it that hard for you to understand? Like really everyone knows that new ruin doesn’t stop it so tbh this post just seems like bait.

Also maybe don’t bring your complaining to a forum, No one really cares to deal with people that just complain about something and can’t just accept that this Perk is staying.

This and the general unreliability of ruin are the reasons why i don't like the ruin rework. I don't like any hex perk except devour nope of course. .)

You're right there. It's now more of a mid-late game perk.
If a killer can utilise it effectively, it's pretty devastating.

Oh yeah almost forgot, new nor old ruin doesn’t stop gen rush, the chances of that perk being used is very low and not only that, gen rush still happens if the killers not using ruin anyways.
it’s the killers fault for not focusing on patrolling gens and just wandering around the map waiting to see the first survivor. Plus even if survivors get of the gen to find ruin or any totem it doesn’t even regress that fast.
Also maybe don’t get so triggered and mad over someone who’s just responding to a bait post of yours. No need to be rude, but I guess it was how you were raised, to be rude to someone who’s being nice and giving a respectful response. it’s not my fault you pushed me to my limits to say something rude. You shouldn’t be using social media or forums if this is how you are going to act towards others.

Yep I mostly play Dark Souls and Nioh 2 again. I get on here and there, but I find little enjoyment on either side anymore.

Depends on a killer new ruin is better. If you play slow killer corrupt intervention is a perfect choice.

Most killers playing emotional and this is a trap. For example: When they find the first survivor and he is a good looper, most killers spending too much time on them and of course the gens popping like popcorns. And then to the dbd forums they go complaining about gen rush every day, when they spend 2 minutes or more to down the first survivor. If the survivor is good on early game, drop the chase. It is that simple.
