And looked how he turned out. He's now a great killer, one which turned out for the better and very few people complain about with a good point.
If you're going to complain, wait till the PTB has been out for a few days.

Same for legion when he got the 115 and the massive amount of "nerfs" that same patch. Killer mains will constantly complain about everything just like survivor mains, the game has 2 roles play both of them not just 1 role and then complain about everything regarding it. The game has to be fun for both sides and Billy requiring more skill is apparently gonna make him F tier cuz they don't wanna learn

While I do agree that we should wait until the PTB to know for sure, the Doc thing isn't a very good comparison as far as Hillbilly. Most of Doc's base kit tools were made stronger compared to his old version. The Billy change is a straight-up nerf; the question is "how much of nerf is it?"

If I remember correctly, the only reason Doc was considered bad during the PTB was because of the cooldown they put on his swing after you shocked them. This was something that was pointed out before too, just like people are pointing out how the Billy changes might be too much.
They changed this after the PTB.

Fair enough, although my main point of the post is: we've complained before trying things in the past and they've turned out fine in the end (Doctor and Deathslinger mainly). We should give it a chance before complaining

They also massively buffed shocked theorpy by HALVING ITS COOLDOWN(it used to have a 3 second cooldown now its 1.5) in between swinging normally.
No when he was first shown he was nearly useless so they flatout had to apply a massive buff to him.

The version that was complained about had to wait 3 full seconds before attacking after a shock and had the old madness system with the actual effects of madness being objectively less impactful
The current version of doctor has to wait only 1.5 seconds, builds madness much faster, doesn't have madness regression mechanics, has basekit reverse skill checks as a madness effect and had buffed addons too.

Also legion STILL isn't at release Feral Frenzy speed either.

Legion (who was ######### BEFORE his rework let me remind you) is at the bottom of most tierlists and is one of the Killers people wanted to be buffed the most. And even with the buffs he did get he's still one of the weaker Killers out there.

Most people aren't saying it's a bit too much. They're throwing tantrums saying Billy is never going to be played again. I don't agree with the change. But I'm not ready to pass judgement either.

Dude the attack cooldown was change was announced rather quickly long before it went live because people rightfully pointed out how bad it was.

Well the 3 second thing was PTB.
But as for the rest, yes we continued to complain until it was changed. And then once it was the problem was solved and we could move on.
We noticed the problems immediately and continued noticing them until they were gone.

The Legion change didn't really do anything in fact on initial release Legion of the rework Legion became worse to play then they initially were.
I didn't really change in skill required they literally just became less annoying/broken to go up against.
The pin add-ons were terrible because it required due to double tap which was extremely punishing.
Vaulting felt slow and clunky and it left the Legion open to abuse from survivors.
The speed reduction to frenzy made it so that you cover even less distance than you did before.
These are just some of the changes that had to be tweaked with after the rework was done because they weren't working out if you're going to pull an example try not using Legion

Exactly. People see a change. Evaluate it, and because people who play the game are good at evaluating these things they end up being correct and when the PTB drops they aren't convinced of #########. And then the PTB ends, nothing changes anyways most of the time (remember that doc was a exception to that) and because people don't tend to complain forever the hype dies down and only a few people keep complaining with the rest being silently annoyed by the reality of the situation.
The same applies when people LIKE a change except there isn't a problem when nothing happens in response because duh.

The point of the post was that you shouldn't complain until you've tried the changes and to see if they're justified. If they're not, complain. If they are, even partially, than speak your mind.

I really appreciate what you trying to do with this post but honestly I don't think it's going to go anywhere.
Even when people play the ptb they usually jump the gun before it even been out for for a full 3 hours.
