2 pallets at one loop?

Yeah, sometimes that happens. Each map generates a random number of pallets.

i know that only a random number of palletrs can spawn but i thought they changed it so only 1 pallet can spawn at each filler pallet and jungle gym.

ah I've experienced this at the entrance of asylum one time I actually had a killer DC cause they spotted it

Been seeing this quite frequently.
I got a farm map and every single spot that could have a pallet, did have a pallet.
There was one corner of the map connected by barn to long wall to jungle gym to jungle gym and then 4 pallets all clustered together within 5-8m of each other into another jungle gym. Even the survivors couldn't believe it and said sorry after the game.

I often see this type of double pallet set up on the Macmillan estate maps most commonly on coal tower near the killer shack because 1 god pallet wasn't enough 3 back to back can spawn.
I can't blame killers for giving up that side of the map if that spawns.

Once a Steve was telling me to follow him (me as a killer) I followed him, saw one of those truck + garbage filler on azarov, I dc'ed.
Steve understood why but not the rest.

It’s because it’s the swamp. There’s a minimum number of pallets that must spawn on every map and since the swamp maps have unusual tiles with no jungle gyms, you sometimes get weird pallet spawns like this.

Thats not a Swamp-only thing (even tho, Swamp is probably the weirdest Outdoor-Map when it comes to Tiles).
When the Map Generator spawned all the Tiles and placed a Pallet on the respective Tiles and the minimum amount of Pallets is not reached, double Pallets happen. This is on every Map.
This means that at one spot there is a double Pallet, but the Map has the fewest Pallets possible and there are most likely Deadzones in other areas.

Ormond is the worst.
pallets back to back to back. i kinda get mad yesterday after deciding playing some killer rounds lol

I didn’t say it was a thing that only happens on the swamp? It’s just more common there in my experience because of its weird tiles.

You wrote "It’s because it’s the swamp." which lead me to the conclusion you are saying it only applies on Swamp. Just wanted to make that clear, since someone else might read it and see a Double Pallet on another Map and is wondering about it.

Yes, I said that because it happens often on the swamp maps.

That must be deathzone pale rose 8 pallets in total and not enough place to spawn pallets making the game put one next to the other one just too reach the 8 base pallets on a map

happens sometimes.
but in your screenshot, there is nothing to wrong about it. its probbably the only 2 center pallets and its not to hard to force them down as killer.

btw. harder setups in ormond are standart. like a jim with a long wall into a stone pallet. its always there and it always s*cks unless ur the surv.

This is the correct explanation. Although, admittedly, I don't know what's the default minimum number of pallets on pale rose.
In general, when you see a double pallet, it means that the maze tiles mostly or all spawned as t/l walls.

This. The map doesn't have enough places to spawn the minimum number of pallets so it will force a pallet to spawn disregarding the distance rules, just to get to the minimum. That's actually good news for the killer, it means the map is pretty much a deadzone.

I get why you dc'd but a double pallet means there is only 4 other pallets on the map. A double pallet is a result of the game not reaching the minimum and forcing a spawn.
1 -
Its based on minimum distance. Looks like this is just out of range to allow it maybe.

Yeah but seeing double pallets like that again is a big nope for me, the only thing that was different is vaccum, since that is not a thing anymore.
0 -
Probably the only pallets on the map, too.
1 -
That's understandable all I'm saying is that the rest of the map is a deadzone so all you need to so is force the pallets down and you win.

I saw a double pallet at a jungle gym some time ago. I was stunned and showed it to the killer.

Wasn't there supposed to be part of the algorithm that didn't let pallets/hooks spawn too close to themselves?
0 -
Wait, that ain't supposed to be common? I'm not being sarcastic, I genuinely get this all the time. I just thought that was how those tiles were designed
0 -
Do you guys know how often that phenomenon happens?
0 -
Just had it myself.

they pretty much were, it was the worse game on swamp ive ever head, killer shack, this and main boat were pretty much the only pallets on the entire map.
