I played 4 games yesterday as trapper, no addons, no perks, cause he's my main and I wanted to know how good I could actually be as him, I played tryharding every game, no tunnel no camp and trapping exit doors and basement since the start of the game and I got a 4k in all of the games. It was one of the toughest experiences ever, but I managed to get what I wanted.

I did report those ones, I'm waiting for the Xbox response I like getting, "An action has been taken against a player you reported". It's really awful how mad people can get over a game...

If that's the worst message you've gotten, consider yourself pretty lucky. I've seen racial slurs/homophobic slurs, threats, and generally idiotic insults. I reported to Sony, and hopefully they banned the person. But they never tell you if they did or not.

Some of those are bad but as for the hacking one if they consider you so good they think you must be hacking take it as a compliment.
Get some videos on youtube too you could be the next Otz.

It's just those certain players who never take responsibility for their own inadequacies and will continue to be stuck in some gluey headspace, content to think if they don't win that it's clearly anybody elses fault but their own. They may also be 8.
Their rank may be 1, but as has been discussed, proven and experienced many times rank does not equal skill. It simply means enough games were played to make it through to that rank. I'm not saying there are no good red rank players - that would be ludicrous. However, if a green rank can beat red ranks both as Killer and Survivor, then ranks are not a solid indicator.
Keep playing as good as you are and who knows: You may actually face players who are gracious in defeat! And those will be the greats at this game eve⁰ntually.

If we wipe as survivors in the first 5 minutes of a match I'll sometimes say ggez at the end as a joke so yeah that probably was one. Even though I've still had killers take offense to it and talk ######### even though it's such an obvious joke lmao.

Lmao. Trapper's not even a good killer. They just know they got wrecked and wanna make themselves feel better about it. I hate losing but I know when I got fairly beat by a good killer.
Also, if anyone calls you a hacker you should thank them. Literally the greatest compliment you can receive xD

You could babysit them and serve as their personal escort then they'll still call you slurs or threaten you. Survivors never call each other out too, they join in. It's the reason I always say something when I play solo.

These seem very tame.
Ones I got lately were wishing me death or cancer.
This community is as it is because there are no automated banning mechanisms for messages as they are in almost all other games.

personally whenever someone posts these messages to me I just give them a image of a crying baby and tell them "this is what you sound like to me rn"
it tends to shut them up pretty quickly

If they GENUINELY, DEADASS wanna say that addonless Trapper is OP, you're a damn good Trapper then. Hope you meet some nicer people though! Sometimes people get mad about ankle injuries

Damn that's such an achievement. It sucks that a lot of people on both sides get salty if they get outplayed or play badly themselves, but best you can do is report and block anyone who harasses you after on console.
