Finding downed people is so annoying on short killers
Lately when I'm playing games as Blight or Hag I'll down someone, look around to make sure no-one is hiding tp flashlight save, and then I can't find the person I've downed. It's happening too much on maps with tall grass and it's nearly impossible to found the person I've downed. I don't want to waste a perk slot on deerstalker but the devs need to make it so that downed survivors have a little glow, like when they are in the dream world for example, because I shouldn't get punished because I physically can't see the person I've downed. And before someone mentions listening for the groans, I do exactly that just to find out the downed survivor is in the complete opposite direction l.
All I ask is that downed survivors get a little glow that can only be seen when ur within 2-4 meters so that I can actually pick up the person I've spent 2 minutes chasing

Are you playing with your headphones reversed?

If you don't already, have you tried playing with headphones? Usually you can find the slug by listening for their moaning.
That said I like the idea of making a slug glow at extremely close range. There are plenty of times where I'll down someone and then they'll sort of teleport like a meter away from where they were when I hit them. This would make it easier to find them at a glance without really making it easier for the killer to find lots slugs. If you're within 2m you should hear the moaning anyway.

Bruh its annoying trying to look over vaults as blight

No I'm using ear phones and I'm 100% sure that they are in right, if that was the case I wouldn't have wrote this

This would be nice but I doubt it happens. QoL is low priority, especially compared to making new bugs and cosmetics.

Yeh I'm using ear phones (I find them more comfortable and reliable than headphones) I have a feeling its either the games audio bugging out or the servers. The teleporting issue happens quite often for me too and that never helps.

Well, survivors often times won't make any sounds when they're on the ground due to a bug that was supposed to be fixed like half a year ago or something like that.

Agreed, I think they need to raise his PoV angle a bit.

Yeh it's not very likely nor a massive issue but i think many people would appreciate this change if it were to happen

I HATE trying to find downed survivors as Blight. I could be trying to immediately pick up someone I’ve just downed in grass, and I’ve already lost them even though I can hear them. I spam the pick up button, but nope. Can’t see em, not luckily picking up by spamming either.

It’s exactly this sort of thing that makes me like Deerstalker as a fourth perk. It saves a surprising amount of time finding slugged survivors that have either crawled away or that you kind of forgot where you downed them. Plus it helps you keep an eye on them to see if another survivor is coming over to heal them. Basically when I find myself frequently slugging I’ll throw this on as the last perk, it’s pretty great.

@dugman same, I run Deerstalker often for this reason. I'm colour blind so tracking blood etc is impossible but Deerstalker helps me out a lot.

I lose downed people all the time. Sorry to anyone who had to bleed out, its often because I just can't remember where I left you.
