SO BHVR Ip bans people?
One of my friends got an Ip ban, and now he needs to get another gaming computer lol

That's not how an ip ban works. He would need another home with another ip address. Or a vpn or something. Also I don't think they are capable of doing something like that?
Edit: To clarify, the ip in the home network is a different one from the one people in the internet can see from you. Internally network ip addresses have nothing to do with the identification of in the internet, that's the ip of your internet provider access.

Or maybe they should take a hint and just not play DBD anymore. They would have had to have had some pretty serious violations of the game rules and T&C’s to incur an ip ban. Which sounds like someone we don’t want as part of this game anyway.

I’m guessing he got caught hacking or exploiting. Good riddance.

I think you are talking about HWID ban. If "your friend" has HWDI ban then he deserve not to play DBD.

Gonna be honest here, if someone gets an IP or MAC ban then they probably aren't the best fit for the community

It’s always a "brother" or a "friend" 🤔

I thought they MAC banned but maybe they do both

That's odd because my friend got banned for Chat Abuse but could still re-purchase and play the game, but if he was reported for something it went straight to another perma ban.
I guess cheating gets the HWID ban but Chat Abuse is just a regular account ban

Bans are not something we discuss here on the forums.
