Probably they can’t say anything cause they like to keep stuff a secret we need to do what the fans did to get the Snyder cut hashtags but be peaceful about this show the devs all the footage you can about DBD console and we might get what we want

hi all,
i completely agree with the statement from OP. this game is so hard to run because of customisation options, and i can speak from experience because this game literally broke my computer.
because i cannot change settings past 'high, medium, low etc.' the game as stessing out my computer that much it crashed the whole system, fried my RAM stick which then led to the corruption of my OS system. after 3 days and almost £100 later, it was fixed. its a shame that i cannot run this game while at uni (using a laptop) because both of my friends have been playing it on console. if this game had actual graphical options instead of a rushed excuse for optimisation, maybe this would not have happened.

I'm not just a mod tbh, I'm a Community Co-ordinator working full time for BHVR, so I do have direct contact. I don't have any information as of yet that I can share, but I am trying to find out.

All I want is for BHvr to just say they aren't going to optimise XB1 and PS4. Just be honest and say you either lied about it or pull a Dice and say "We don't have the Tech". Just ######### say something about not optimizing, instead of a "We're working on it"

Elements of all the reworked maps drop frames on console. When the new Lery's came out I thought it looked wonderful. Then I went into the center room, and with so much going on there fps tank. Killers like Doc and Freddy are harsh to play there because of the drops.

I don't think its gonna happen, but I want them to say it. Not just silently wait until players get new gen consoles and stop asking about it.

For real, and it would get so many people off their backs as well. It takes a lot more courage to admit when you messed up or can’t do something that you said you can do, rather than to just sit in radio silence, but people will respect that at least you’re honest about it.

The contrast is super high and my eyes are just....burning.
Plus, auras are kinda a nightmare.

Sloppy being applied and Exposed popping up have to be the two frame drop triggers I've dealt with the longest. Literally been in the game for years.

In my games on PC it is the same but minimal, sometimes in a chase the same thing happened to me, I froze when I gave a blow and fatal in the world of dreams, I just hope we get enough "noise" for the developers to stop Put aside their bitter pride and give us a correction of errors so that the game is balanced, they should put aside the new chapters to concentrate on this, in the optimization, the waiting time of games more than survivor than killer, the situation and as a community we must unite again to demand our proposals.

Hmmm dead hard or Blight cosmetic? 🤔 Really hope it wasn't that you had turned towards the gen as the bubble from Tinkerer was going away because that would be beyond obnoxious.

I often get such freezes when I actually get a hit but they vault and Lithe kicks in, or when I approach a surv and they SB away, or Dead Hard saves their ass. Popping Exhaustion is a guaranteed frame plumit for me.
It's the same reason I stopped running Sloppy. Once I knew applying it would grind gears badly I knew it had to go.

The game isn't "poorly optimized". Unreal engine 4 allows heaps of optimizations, more than many other game engines out there today. You could get this game to run at 60 fps on a laptop if you had the ability to edit the configs.
The problem is BHVR trying to make the game look realistic, so they lock certain UE4 config settings such as shadows, volumetric fog, frame rate smoothing, bloom, Anti Aliasing, Shader Complexity, Detail mode etc. which can cause massive problems for older pcs or even minor problems for decent pcs.
Even consoles could run 120 FPS if the config was done right.

Well, its been over 2 years since they made mention of working towards 60 fps on console. The scenarios that could play out-
A-They're gonna have it as part of their anniversary stream after the RE press release as a part of their back end optimization
B-They gloss over last gen and speak only of new gen upgrades
C-Rub hands together and say its still being worked on
Depending on what is or isn't communicated on Tuesday will decide if this game stays on my system or not. Super tired of not hearing a simple yes or no. It's not hard to be honest.

I'm 99.9% sure that FPS drop was because of Megs Dead Hard.

Not to be rude, but I wasn't talking to you. You play on Xbox which I know to be much worse than PlayStation. I have the new Xbox and my PS4 works better. I know that you deal with bad optimization. But that Oni guy shouldn't. He's on PS4, a system that I've never had problems like this with.

So, because of your own individual experience, the system is bad but when you are presented with evidence that shows that BOTH systems suffer from the same issues, you reject it.
My One X runs every other game I own perfectly fine. This is a DBD issue, not an Xbox or Playstation issue, don't make it one.

Yes. I have 4000 hours on PS4, around 3500 on PC, and maybe 2 on the new Xbox. In this entire time, I only lagged to this point on Xbox. So yes, from my experience Xbox is worse. Maybe they optimized PS4 better, if it isn't a Xbox issue. Anyways, I think that this is a case of bad internet on his end, or maybe he isn't on his own servers. I've never seen this on PS4, and I have no reason to believe that it happens regularly to people with good ping.
Like, I have no issues whatsoever playing Nurse and Blight, the two laggiest killers in the game. I even have green ping. But the second I play on Xbox, this type of thing happens. Either it IS an Xbox issue, or they optimized PS4 better.

Or, neither of those are true and you've simply been lucky.
I've played this game on PS4, Xbox One and Xbox One X.
None of them ran the game well.
The only platforms that I've seen be consistent are PS5, Series X and PC.

I remember playing as Deathslinger, hit a Zarina, she got injured and then hit her again and was SOMEHOW still up and injured when she should be put into the dying state... She didn't have a styptic or ran MoM, I hit her again and then she was able to get downed. That was basically 3 hits in order for her to get downed
