Why is it faster to restart the game on ps4 after a match???

I don’t get it. After a game when I’m back at the menu, the little loading emblem appears. During this time I can’t do anything. I can’t start another game, I can’t switch from killer to survivor, I can’t back out. By the time it’s done and I can select ######### i could of restarted the game twice. What’s wrong? Why is it doing that? What is the game loading?!
