Would you want an estimated wait time for lobbies?
Title. Basically an estimated wait time to get into a lobby.
Personally I'd like one, means I can see which side is faster queues and I'm not wasting a bunch of my time waiting around. Currently waiting 10+mins for a killer lobby with crossplay on, like how long do I need to wait each lobby...

In addition, there should be a small BP bonus for the role more in need.
If the Survivor queues are longer, killers get extra BP, and vice versa. Even if it's just +10%.

Finally got a lobby with 200ping... guess I'll try again? Not sure it's worth playing at this point lol

That would be nice, a timer would let us know how much we can expect to wait.
Upon that, I'd like BP for successfully queuing in a role that's dangerously low on players. Maybe +50% bonus BP?

Would be nice, I'd rather know the wait time than BP though, I guess the bp would show it technically but I'd be down

Stole it off twitter (Credit: Shbzz). Rainbow six siege has this feature and it never works. I don't see how BHVR can do any better.

Man, you are giving me some hardcore PTSD right now. Siege is TERRIBLE when it comes to this.

The more you rank up the faster your queues become. (this no longer applys when mmr goes live ofc). Then you might end up with 1h queues like dowsey.

BHVR did say that they will give incentives for players to fill roles that are lacking at the moment to help reduce queue times.
BP bonus is most likely, but will it be high? Probably not. Most likely it'll be this hour is short killers, play now and get 25% for the next hour. It'll help with the grind and queue, and will encourage people to play roles they don't normally play.
I like to play both roles, so I'm excited to see what BHVR comes up with.

Works on gears. And the reason that happens is due to player on a server with no other players or every other player is legit in a match. DBD requires people so its run better as well as there being 1 game mode bot multiple.
Besides anyone waiting an hour clearly knows theres a game issue.

I'm rank 4 (usually 1 but haven't played since reset) so I should be able to be matched with any player so I dont get why it's so long lol

We did have it for a brief time, I can't actually remember why it was removed.
I'd like it purely because I'd know if I could go and grab a coffee or something whilst waiting.

Must of been very brief, cant say I ever noticed and iv had the game since release lol. I remember it asked in a survey though, would be nice though like you said. Nothing fun sitting waiting for awhile lol

I've seen some games where it works better. FFXIV for example has a fairly reliable estimate for most regular content. But given Behaviour's track record on this kind of thig I fear you may be right!

If reliable then it would be a neat little feature to know if you could leave for a short time or not.
this is currently not necessary, but nothing against it really.

They used to have it and it was surprisingly accurate. If it said 4 minutes, it would be roughly 4 minutes. Unfortunately, and predictably, people cried about it, "It said 5 minutes and I had to wait 6! Waaah!".
And that is why we cannot have nice things.

I remember when we had that. I feel like it'd do a countdown then when it would finish sometimes you'd go to lobby but other times it'd be blinking 0:00 like it thought you'd be in lobby but something happened that changed that and it didn't know what to do. 😂
