Does opening the hatch with a key midgame give bloodpoints? and if so, what about reopening it?
If you open the hatch with a key midgame, and the killer closes it, do you get the blood points, and if you reopen it and the killer keeps reclosing it, does that give you a lot of blood points?

You can only use a key to open the hatch when you're the last one in game and the killer has already closed the hatch. If you open the hatch with a key you automatically jump into it. There's no opening/closing the hatch multiple times in middle of a match.

You can't open the hatch midgame. It only spawns, already opened, when there's one survivor left in the match.

Previously the hatch would spawn when there was one more generator completed than survivors alive - and yes, if you opened the hatch then you would automatically jump in.
Since the recent change to the hatch mechanics though, the hatch will now only spawn when there's one survivor left alive (it also opens then ). If the killer closes the hatch, the survivor can open it with a key with a 2.5s animation occurring.
