I really like the new matchmaking testing
Hope it stays like that permanently.
I played survivor yesterday and I was only againts good killers, and I dont mean the top 3 meta ones.
I mean weak killers played to perfection,I think it was the most fun day I ever had playing survivor in dbd since I got matched with more fair killers/survivors.
Honestly, there's nothing more fun that going againts a god killer that has to deal with loops, that means you enjoy 100% of the game, and both sides have a chance depending on how good they play.
I dont know what they did but keep it that way.
It seems that its working better than before the testing.
I was againts an Onryo that was chasing everyone and aplying constant map pressure not wasting a second, good killer players are scary no matter what killer they play.

We're going to be testing so many different things over the course of these tests...it's kind of interesting seeing the varied responses in the feedback.

Yes the new mmr is way better than the current one. Team mates taking hits and bodyblocking tunneler killer in solo q. Killers with a real strategy, they scared me.
Yes the new mmr almost perfect.

Will the team read our feed-backs? Because i am recording my all stufs for test. I will share all of them after last test. Hope i am not doing pointless job because i care about this game.

It's my responsibility to read all the feedbacks and prepare the reports on it, you can be assured that I am doing it. Then we'll assess everything once all the tests have been completed - these whole tests are something we are keeping a very close eye on.

Thank you, i am trying my best with both roles for testing new MMR. Hope it is works good and finally we can love new MMR.

Thank you for taking the time to do this, it's much appreciated.

Yeah agreed i actually formed a bit of a escape streak since all my teammates were really good. There wasn't much of a weak link which is surprising for soloq. With the side effect though now which i get facecamped or proxy camped to second state all the dang time.

Sadge I cant test it since I am busy with work ;( really unfortunate, wish those tests would be longer then just 1 day each. Feels abit unfair for ppl who are busy at certaign times that literally dont get the chance to test it themselves tbh.

On the 29th and 30th I played against really good killers, but also had really good survivors (often thousands of hours on each survivor and killer). Not only that but the queue times also improved somehow... despite matchmaking seeming as fair as ever.

I played last night (March 30) as survivor solo queue and the games seemed pretty solid. Didn't pull out any hair or see any hook suicides.
...it's a start.

But at the same time, think how that killer feels? Yesterday I played a few games of Killer. Couldn't get past game 5 just because it was back to back swf, or very coordinated survivors. The toxic ones didn't help.
There needs to be weak players in each game in order for both sides to have fun, but then we have the problem the "weak" player isn't going to have a good time either.

Thus far, it feels like I'm getting matched with better allies as survivor and a lot of weak killers, or straight up AFK killers.
As a killer, my games have been...uneven. Possibly even more so than before testing. Match 1 will be a really close, even game. Match 2 and 3 will be against a slaughter squad. Match 4 will be a one sided stomp from me.
I will say that queue times have been a bit faster.

Same. But the killer matches were very rough. Full on sweat meta.

The killers got better, my survivors suck.

Unfortunately, seeing the different replies makes me believe only one thing: MMR is still pretty random.
When it first came out, I thought it was good (heck, I have a thread about it being great), because I ignored the random matches.
I realized it was bad when I finally noticed it is entirely random, and those good matches are just as random.
I hope they find the sweet spot with MMR. It could be so good but right now it's a miss.

I hate it. I got the same killer (including same player) twice in a row. It was twice the same oni. Next match a nurse with the same player. How is that a progress???

But i guess the main problem is the horrible killer:surv ratio. Killers decrease rapid and then mmr becomes more difficult. Plus many killers dodge lobbies just for fun. I changed from killer to surv too. That way the game will get big problems.
