Legacy outfits
Back when they gave out all the exclusives besides Legacy, they daid they wont be giving away legacy because it would be a slap in the face to those guys since the grind was a pain back then.
Now, they even said it themselfs, they reduced the grind by like 75%.
They also said that this is the biggest grind reduction they have EVER made.
Why cant you just give us thr Legacy as a compensation or atleast ANY other cool exclusive outfit?
Its just not fair like that, some of us spent thousends of hours for nothing.

I have all my survivors p3 50 and 70% of my killers p3 50. After seeing the "reward" I just gave up on prestiging everyone else.

No one deserves to get old Legacy unless they went through THAT grind which was WAAAAY worse.

We announced a long time ago that no form of Legacy would be returning...we also made this very clear here on this forum, when the discussion around the P3 reward started, that the reward would not be a cosmetic one.

Its still disappointing that people who put so much time into their characters will only get a icon to show from it.

Legacy was hard earned and it shows that you are a 2016 player. I played back then but was a ps4 gamer so I could never get it. It should deffinatly never come back into the game though

the game wasn't out on PS4 back then...it came out on Playstation June 2017.

I wouldn't want legacy to come back due to the promise made by the devs. However, seeing as the main argument by the devs was to give legacy due to the reduction in grind, a similar exclusive cosmetic should be given due to the biggest grind reduction in history about to take place.
Big reduction in grind = Exclusive Legacy Pieces
Biggest reduction in grind history = smaller inconspicuous reward
For a company that prides itself on treating others with fairness, this doesn't add up with their beliefs or standards.

So you want legacy for just prestiging your character to p3 at the current state of the game really?
Back then there was no barbecue, wglf, BPS, 5000 bloodpoints for 13 chainsaw hits with billy, no challenges, no grade reset rewards. Bloodwebs took much longer to complete. It took really long time to prestige a character and that's why the got their legacy.
Do you really think you deserve legacy for how easy it is to prestige a character now?

Oh, lucky you, I know you have Legacy Gear. (We played against each other several times). Yes, the grind was hard and I also had Legacy with my first account at the time. Unfortunately that disappeared due to the bug with the bad ressets, and I still think it's a shame that BHVR hasn't found a way to at least give people (who lost their gear due to the bug) their gear back. 😪

I've never used Legacy in game or in the lobby - plus my steam achievements/games etc are all on private so it might not have been me you were playing against.

Sure the devs communicate that the reward will not be a cosmetic. But for the longtime player who have already prestiged and lost their stuff and millions of bp the announced reward is sad…

mhh thats interesting. All I can say is. It was a Legacy Nea. The name was MandyTalks and the picture was a black one with a red lip. Maybe it was a fake account or someone was trolling. I do not know

I know BHVR finally after years of leading us on publicly said they were no longer going to (try to) refund legacy... but you never know, maybe someday 🤞

Ok, but I still don't think that an icon shown in the endgame screen can be considered a sufficient way to reward the effort that players went through in order to prestige a character.
It was the only option we had to obtain a set of cosmetics, and we had to spend/waste tons of bloodpoints and throw out the window event limited items and offerings.
An icon is not going to commemorate our efforts in the right way, we should at least get some form of adequate compensation.

Honestly cosmetic reward for putting time and effort into the game would be good, it is always cool to have exclusive rewards to reward your hard work and a pin honestly isnt gonna do it imo

Imagine if BHVR put in effort and actually gave us a unique cosmetic for the survivors and killers we spent millions of bloodpoints to prestige 3.
But, I mean come on...this is BHVR we're talking about.
I would have loved to have an alternate version of the P3 cosmetics. Maybe the blood being a different color, or even glowing would be sick. But yay, we have an icon in the endgame screen that 80% of players are going to skip over. Yayyyy.

I was disappointed when i learned it wasn't be cosmetic months ago.
I was more disappointed now to learn that is an icon. It's absolutly like you say to me : "To consider your efforts, we'll put your name in game in very very very light grey. We fully assure you that difference is really visual and impactful." Nope ... There no difference between white and very light grey. There no difference to have an icon which owners and un-owners won't care about.
I did'nt see any reaction on the forum as "This is so great ! Thanks a lot !"

Interesting. I must of gotten the game when it first came out for console because I remeber huntresses hatches being absolutely broken and I also remember going against legacies but that means I had to be playing on pc, but I do not remeber ever buying dbd on steam. I believe what happened was I bought a ps4 and liked it more than pc then bought dbd for console on release

no it wasn't. It was available only until November 2016 - so players had only a few months from release of the game to prestige, and prestiging back then took much longer as in game BP was less, less bloodhunts (in fact only one from memory right before legacy was released), plus the bloodwebs were massive and took a lot more BP than they do currently.

i have 14 characters at p3 and it was gonna be 16 with pinhead and yui at p2. The reward is really disappointing and made me stop prestiging

Yeah an icon is cosmetic. Here we go again with vague wording and me lawyering about things I don’t care about that much but you guys seriously need to pick your words more carefully to avoid backlash. Not cosmetic means it does something other then looks. Not just what are classed in games as cosmetics.
Icons do nothing else other then ‘appearance’ which is literally cosmetic.

so they had to care about 8 characters (4 killer + 4 survivor) and invest a few month. Now we talking about the grind and effort for 31 survivor + 26 killer and a timeinvest of years and thounds of hours… before the announcement of the devs it wasn‘t clear that we additional get the prestige Level and so we waste all stuff like addons or items while we go for prestige and that's the big point! Some of us have done this for 57 characters so it’s massivly more effort than at the beginning.

Not to be that guy but if legacy would've been a thing on ps I would've gotten it 100%, all killers to legion all perks p3, also I moved to pc and currently have all killers p3 up to pinhead all perks.
Which in math is more than the older bloodweb since there were what? 5 killers when legacy was introduced.
Many players like myself will get nothing but a charm for grinding probably more than what people had to go through in 2016.
Doesn't seem fair at all in any way especially when legacy was given before the game was released on a platform.
