Charms to award your longest, most loyal players. Hideous, ugly charms at that.

I think you're muddling things up a bit. The exclusive "distinct rewards" were said to not be cosmetic or charms.
The "prestige awards" on the other hand is completely different to what BHVR was talking about. And they can be earned by anyone once the new system is released.

The distinct reward for having your characters p3 before the mid-chapter isn't charms. The charms are a prestige reward for p7-9.

Sorry the "Sparkling Portraits" was intended to be a reward. Lmao. Looks like a cheap filter that can only be seen on your side anyways.
That is even more sad that this is the intended reward for long time players.

at this point even that charm would be better.
But screwed this, they said it's going to be a special prestige icon. If they simply lied about it to make us play more during event, I will just refuse to play again. I was fine without dbd for half a year and that was for less.

the rewards for the prestige are bad and absurd so much spending of points and only glitters and common amulets that mock.
