Jake hooked on you skin
Is the code for the redeemable skin for Jake on hooked on you given once opening the game?
I have a MacBook and the game isn't compatible with my laptop 🥲

No, I belive Its code for one use only so you should still be able to use it.

I had to open the Hooked on You game and there's an option on the main screen that sends you to a url where you get the code to redeem in the DBD store. I don't know if there is another way to get the code.

When in the game, you'll have an option in the menu "link account" that leads you to the correct bhvr page, from which you can get the code.
So yes, you need to load into the game at least once, I think.

I suppose that if you open the game via Steam family share, it doesn’t give you a new code?

I'm a little confused about this, could you buy the game on Steam and redeem the code on PlayStation? Is the code to be used on the in-game code redemption section or is it an entirely different redemption process? Thanks.

I must be doing something wrong then, cause I haven't been able to get any codes. I played 'Hooked on you', clicked 'link account', created an account on https://account.bhvr.com , did this via logging in with twitch. I linked my steam account.
When on the HoY page, I see nothing but the youtube trailer for HoY. And when I click on DbD I cannot merge steam. But I've read that's not necessary? Still, no codes to be found when I restart either HoY or DbD. Can you please direct me to what I need to change/do?

It's rather obvious that the skin was originally supposed to be released alongside the summer themed outfits for Haddie, Mikaela and Felix we received a little while ago, but it was delayed to provide incentivisation for players to buy Hooked on You.

You are probably doing something wrong along the way, merging is not necessary, you just need to link DBD.

Yeah... This is just the same stuff over and over again... and not helping unfortunately.
My account IS linked to my steam. The claim button doesn't show on the DbD page. It only has a question mark on the top, telling me to download the game. Even though the game is downloaded, installed and even played through.
I don't know why it won't show. All I can think of now is that making an account through my twitch (the easy way, didn't want another password to remember) is now biting me in the ass. Even though my steam is also linked to my twitch. I'm using the same e-mail on everything, so nothing should clash.

My issue has been resolved. I've been able to claim my code thanks to some help from HoY support.
Close Steam.
Delete all cookies from your browser that are connected to bhvr account. (I deleted everything related to it as well, even the ones from Steam in browser cause I tried to see if being on their page helped anything with the synchronizing of the game, just be sure)
Then start up Steam again. Start Hooked on You. And click the " link account " option.
For me, this time around I actually got the correct page which should end in my-account/games/hoy/activation?provider=steam
