Does having a high killer streak influence map rotation?
This is something I heard, where apparently the game recognizes your kill rate on different killers on certain maps soo it sends you to your worst rotations. 1st of all, is there any truth to this?
Second of all, if we're to then assume it is true, then why? The prospect of having to even ask this comes from a place of MMR hell where I come across some pretty evil teams at times, top that with the fact my map rotations for my nurse are: Coldwind (never with the big house), Ormond and Macmillan. I've noticed doing well after a certain time rotates me into these awful maps, and I havent gotten a single midwich in months, I thought the system was supposed to be random but clearly there is some kind of variable I am missing here

Yeah, after I win too much and start facing really good survivors, any time I tab back into the game I'm at Coldwind. Weird how that works.

Can confirm, kill rates, win streaks, MMR - has absolutely no effect on map selection whatsoever.

The idea is that it is per the killer not survivor streaks for instance, it is just another asymmetrical issue in theory, but it's something I hope to see addressed by BHVR

I always seem to get nothing but Lery's when I queue up as Leatherface or Huntress

No, it doesn't. Maps are completely random barring the Map Repeat Prevention system.
