    Someone used a map that allows them to ping a location "that all survivors see".

    That is thy holy pizza delivery boy.

    But the beam of light is a map add-on. It lets you place a marker that all other survivors can see.

    okay the truth............. it gives you bp after you stand in it long enough for 3 crows to spawn above your head...... also while youre in it the killer cannot see you...
