Constructive Criticism of Legion Changes.
THE LEGION
- The Legion’s base movement speed is increased to 4.6m/s
Probably the most necessary legion change, legion side of the game. I agree with it. On another note, since frenzy can only be used to injure I think even more speed wouldn't hurt but that's me being greedy.
- The Legion’s Terror Radius is increased to 32m.
This makes me a bit sad since with Legions size being able to jump people with Monitor and Abuse when multiple people were on a generator often landed in multiple frenzy hits. Unlikely to happen now as they'll split earlier. When you add in the slower frenzy speed survivors will make it to a safe zone in time before multiple hits go off. I disagree and think it should stay at 24m.
- Most of The Legion’s add-ons are rebalanced or reworked to account for the changes to Feral Frenzy and the Deep Wound status effect.
Would have been nice for a bit more detail here(is Franks Tape gone?). I am happy that these are being done as some of them I thought were near useless(the buttons).
- The Iridescent button addon no longer requires The Legion to apply Deep Wound for the effects to be active.
A great change now we can crush pallets as soon as they are dropped and see where far away survivors are. On another note, this makes survivors immune to deep wounds countdown while legion is in frenzy...
FERAL FRENZY UPDATE
- The recharge time of Feral Frenzy is increased and now requires a full power gauge to use it. Once it has been activated, the Legion must wait until the power gauge is full to be able to trigger the power again.
I don't think this change should go through with the current pallet stunning/normal attacking removing your all of your power gauge, its simply too harsh. The power has too much risk for the reward it gives when compared to other killers.
- The duration of Feral Frenzy is increased. The Legion spends longer in frenzy.
On its own this change is good since you can reach further away survivors easily, however the legion almost never could catch up to people who weren't directly in the first frenzy hits vicinity. With the next points speed nerf I doubt this will do much of anything to change that.
- The movement speed of Feral Frenzy is significantly reduced. The Legion moves faster than base speed while in frenzy, but not as fast as they did before.
I really dislike this change because it takes away legions sort of pounce and rush down play style. Survivors will reach safe zones much easier and Legion will still have to respect pallets or risk being set back an entire power gauge. Also some metrics would be nice here as well.
- The Legion can no longer see blood pools (in addition to not seeing scratch marks) while in Feral Frenzy.
Of all the changes this is the one that made the least amount of sense. I don't recall using blood to track in frenzy, if I didnt catch up to the survivor instantly I would just go out of frenzy and track it normally. Seems like a pointless nerf.
- Feral Frenzy is immediately and automatically cancelled whenever The Legion misses an attack while in frenzy.
Another change that seems a bit harsh considering how ineffective Legions power actually is. Although I agree with not letting legion just throw out attacks until the gauge runs out, having legion go into cooldown stun for missing seems a bit much. Nurse goes into cooldown stun for missing but she can go through walls and has no cooldown gauge. Hillbilly goes into cooldown stun for missing with chainsaw, its a oneshot and it has such a small cooldown a bar isn't needed. So why?
DEEP WOUND UPDATE
- The Deep Wound timer pauses for survivors within The Killer's Terror Radius–regardless of whether they are in a chase or not.
A good necessary change, but still a nerf with nothing but movement speed to show for it.
- The Deep Wound timer pauses while Mending.
I understand how horrible "moonwalking legion" was but when I hit multiple survivors in frenzy, tracking them down with sound and blood trail for the quick 1-tap(frenzy or otherwise) was fun and I'm sad to see any possible way to do it gone.
- The Killer does not see the Deep Wound timer progress–only the Deep Wound bar to know that Deep Wound has been applied.
I'm unsure what to think about it, the bar definitely helped with tracking down a bleeding survivor to see how far they went for a 1 tap. I don't really think this change does much except enforce the fix to moonwalking at the expense of legions viability.
- The Deep Wound timer progress is no longer reduced by regular Feral Frenzy attacks.
So if you do catch a survivor nearly bled out you won't be able to do anything except attack outside of frenzy, honestly at this point its unclear why deep wounds is still the effect at all. Also a bit immersion breaking to be able to hit a survivor with frenzy when they're on the verge of collapsing them have them sprint away with no damage.
Overall I'm happy that Legion has been changed to be more fun for survivors but these feel like mostly nerfs with nothing really to show for it but the default killer template of 4.6m/s and 32m terror radius. I'm pretty disappointed.

The changes are indeed too harsh if the only buff was 115% movement speed
When he becomes a M1 Killer, he is the killer most prone to Pellets, because eating a pellet will drain all of your Frenzy, meaning the survivor will have way enough time to get to another pellet/ window, and with the increased cooldown it just makes it so much easier to fight vs Legion
