Something wrong with next chapter?
It's kind of strange the devs announce there is no slated PTB time out of nowhere, is something going on? Before it was announced sometime in Sept it would happen , is this being pushed back/ changed?

Yea @Peanits but at this point it's pretty bullshit to announce a trailer so early and then to not have the ptb for at least 2 weeks.If you guys could at least release some gameplay or something at least

I realize this but I was asking if something was wrong because out of nowhere you guys just say no official time has been slated but announced before that it would be sometime in September, my question was has that changed or is sometime in September still to be expected without an exact date? I like many others are just curious because I don't want to get hyped for something that's gonna be more than a month away @Peanits I hope you understand what I'm trying to ask

I'm not being impatient I'm asking if we should even be expecting it this month coming up as they've said before or if this new announcement banner means it will be more like October, it's fair to speculate without being impatient

Honestly, I'm torn between being glad that I know Stranger Things is coming to DBD regardless and being a little salty that they announced and teased it at least two weeks before we get any actual relevant gameplay/a full on PTB. If it's not this Tuesday, I'm gonna call it quits and go play some Civ 5 until we get some actual relevant information.

I think it might be intended because of the extra licenced cosmetics being unveiled. Even then the hype I had a couple of weeks ago is like 40% less because of the wait.
I really do hope you change your dlc testing approach so it's tested internally then onto a small time frame ptb and released shortly after. There's just no excitement in waiting.

At this point they mine as well drop a nice long double BP event and drop the chapter with the dedicated servers "shrugs".... tomorrow's the 31st meaning august is at its end..... the community wants to know and bhvr needs to make a decision...

I think there is a problem with a dlc being announced then it actually releasing over a month later. I think it's bad marketing and it just makes you think why even get excited if it's so far away.
It's all for the sake of bugs which will always be in the game in some shape or form.
The Devs don't need to do anything but I hope they relook at how they do things at some point and test new content more vigorously internally and cut the length of the ptb a little.
Even delaying the reveal of the dlc would let the hype begin closer to it's actual release which would be nice move.
When you say learn patience you need to remember that games are intended for fun and when the surprise element of dlc is gone because everyone knows the ins and outs once it's revealed and when the dlc isn't available for over a month. Dlc seriously loses its appeal.
Personally I will still buy all dlc but there's zero excitement in waiting and if you're convinced it's just impatience then I don't think you understand how the excitement and hype just trickles away the longer the gap between the teaser/reveal and the actual release is.
