Actually the gen blows when surge triggers, so also decreases the bonus 5% progress 😁

No. The gen blowing isn't additional regression onto of the 8%.

The gen blowing IS the 8%.

You're thinking of when the Survivor fails a skill check.

Yeah I have to say the Demo's perks are just way too situational and weak. I'm just going to say it, Mind-Breaker is a complete and total joke. The only use MB has is against sprint burst and if your using a sneaky wraith, Scratched Mirror Michael, and maybe a Ghostface. However there are ultimately better perks for all three of them

Surge is just honestly pointless now, even though it's range has been increased it still doesn't proc on power hits like Infectious Fright does which ultimately strangles it's potential use. Now could it be useful on killers like Wraith, Ghostface, and Michael? Yes, however for that same slot you could equip Weasel which has no cool-down, can down a gen 50% if hit twice and down two gens by 25%, Corrupt or Ruin

Ultimately Surge's biggest weakness is still that healthy survivors can just run away most of the time, while it is nice that it procs perks such as Surveillance. It's honestly just not worth it unless your using a very specific generator control build

Cruel is honestly the best perk Demo has, however it's still highly map dependent. That said it is without a doubt the most reliable perk he has

I hope they buff the other two like they did Plague's which made them absolutely awesome. However I don't really have too much hope considering how worried they are about surge being too strong as it is

i almost always run Surveillance, so, using Surge is quite nice to know if survivors are in a certain area. i have played on the larger maps, and, it is a bit useless even with Surveillance as you'll likely only even get one gen, if that. but on smaller maps? ohhh, i'll know where everyone is working.

points 1,2,3and 4 offset anything else. chase mechanics are more important than oh they can't hear you on this wide open map with swf using coms.

It's that the explosion is separated from the regression.

Technician prevents the explosion but not the regression from the failed skill check for example. The fact that the gen didn't explode didn't impact the regression at all because the explosion itself isn't the cause of the regression in the first place.

    Correct.

The explosion itself does nothing. The fact that you failed a skill check is what regresses it. Likewise, Surge is what regresses the generator, not the explosion. Surge would not regress the generator and count as a failed skilled check.

I'm really hoping that Amanda gets the same treatment when it comes to ruleset no. 2

Gotta' say, I wouldn't want that. You'd be taking your RBTs which are meant to take people off of generators and telling them, "Hey, don't bother looking for a box until you do a generator." They'll still have enough time to remove it, it's not meant to be an easy RNG kill, but you'd be losing the one thing they're good at.

What's the time I find myself playing with this survivors tent up objects regardless of if someone has a trap on their head or not.

Usually unless the game is going super slow it's mostly before the person even gets off hook which when you're running the add-on kind of makes it seem like a massive waste of an ultra rare.

But I do understand what you mean
