Vader could be tempted into the fog if the Entity took Obi-wan as a Survivor. Personally though, I think Darth Sideous would be a much better choice for a DBD Killer. He's irredeemably evil and he loves it (plus, there's a chance maybe Ian McDairmid would do some voice lines). And we already have a regular evil wizard, so…

I don't think much can be learned from 400 or so games, tbh. But I am still a little bit sad that BHVR couldn't find a way to make OG release Chucky work. He's not currently super weak or anything, I'm just not a huge fan of this nerfed second iteration of his power. He lost a lot of his character when they changed him and…
-
I think it's fine for the PTB. But if they bring this to live or the events, I don't look forward to being in "bot lobby MMR". But on the plus side, at least they will do gens. I don't know how I feel about this. I do play other PVP games that have a lot of bots in them (Fortnite and Star Wars: Hunters) and that doesn't…

As others have said, forcing them out is always an option. It depends on the Killer, but I'll either find somewhere to practice my power if I don't feel like getting bagged at today (like a neat structure where I can vault a bunch of windows as Legion) or I'll go to the gate to see if I can get at least one of them for a…

The game doesn't track the total number of Survivor games played, so I've had to guesstimate based on the total amount of generators I've repaired. So based on repairing 1 generator per trial (obviously, there will be trials when I don't repair any generators or when I might repair 3), I have a personal escape rate of…

But OoO is paid DLC and has the pretty big downside of revealing your aura to the Killer. As a not very good looper, I avoid this perk since it's an open invitation to the Killer to tunnel you out of the game petty quickly. Why would it be such a bad idea to add a perk that alerts Survivors to Killer Instinct? I don't…
-
I might be the only person that likes the way this perk currently works, but this is still a pretty neat idea. I think it would be better as a separate new general perk, though. Since Stranger Things returned to the game, new Survivors have had 6 less perks to play with than what I started out with. We could do with a few…

It makes sense to remove crouch techs. But if I'm being totally honest, crouch techs are all I've got in my bag of tricks against these Killers.

I have a nearly complete collection of his English language publications, including some of the older Dark Horse collections. Like I said, I'm a fan. Yeah, I would recommend that one too. But his best work (and the best introduction imho) is probably Uzumaki. I genuinely think he's a genius.

My problem is more to do with my stubborn refusal to wear headphones when playing this game (or any game). I don't want all that screaming and all those exploding noises pumped into my ears, so I'm usually just left guessing where she is at a loop and most of the time I guess wrong. I don't doubt she takes a lot of skill…

I'm a huge Junji Ito fan, so I'm really happy to see some of his creations come into the fog (even if it is only as a collection of skins). They all fit the Killers / Survivors that they've chosen to adapt really well. The only down side for me is that I wish they were for Killers that I actually play as. I can see why…

I'm not sure. But yeah, I do hope that the command to "mend self" is always visible to players, regardless of whether you are running or not. I've already played enough Legion games against less experienced players who don't realise they have to mend before getting on that gen or they're going to hit the dirt.
-
I'm not sure on the idea about increasing gen speeds for every Survivor that's hooked. Why would Killers ever feel incentivised to hook if doing your objective helps your opponent? Wouldn't more Killers choose to slug instead? Just seems like an unhealthy direction to push the game. Surely we want a game in which Killers…
-
But you really do need to take into consideration differing skill levels. If feedback from beginner, low and even intermediate players is ignored by the devs, how many of them do you think will stick around long enough to really "learn" how to play the game? Take a Killer like Legion. Most people would agree they are a…
-
I hope they forget to "fix" it so that it no longer increases Legion's window vaulting speed. But if they do, it will obviously be the first step towards giving Legion base kit Frank's Mixtape and reworking that add-on to become a vault speed add-on. Right? Please tell me I'm right. I like this perk since it can be a good…

I'm still grumpy about this to be honest. Haven't spent a penny on the Switch version since cross progression came to the game and I feel so sorry for all the players that also have content trapped on the platform. Hopefully Switch 2 will be a better DBD experience for players if and when they upgrade. I love Nintendo…
-
I don't feel like I'm in any position to complain about "bad" teammates (especially not in the event mode, when I'm not taking things all that seriously and I do want to throw a couple snowballs at my teammates). I'm not good at Survivor. So long as everyone is still trying, I'll force myself to stay in a match for as long…
-
I have a rule now. If I play 3 Survivor games and they're all terrible, I switch to Killer or I play another game. Guess how many Survivor games on average I'll play in a session? If you said 3, well done you're right! Not a single game I've played today on Survivor in the event mode has been fun or felt remotely winnable.…

Making up lore builds is one of my favourite things to do in DBD. I'm sure I've shared variants of these before elsewhere, but here are a few of the ones I've come up with: Alan Wake's build is themed around mechanics from his first game. A Flashlight is a must have, along with his perk Champion of Light to get max value…
-
I won't lie, I played real stinky to get my Legion adept. This is part of the reason why I haven't adpeted any further Killers since. If you don't want to try hard for it, I would suggest playing until you eventually get matched with a weak enough team (it may take a while, but we all know how iffy the match making can be…
-
Well, I LOVE a scratched mirror Myers. So I guess there's your answer. Different people love and hate different things about the game. I don't think most players load into a game with the intention to DC or go next. I suspect that usually comes after a string of bad experiences and they're simply fed up with the game at…

I haven't actually played a Civ game since the very first one on DOS. I remember I once had a bronze age Phalanx unit fortified against modern battleships and jet fighters. They just could not take it down no matter how hard they tried (terrain modifiers or something?). Anyway, it was so funny.
-
I guess someone didn't wipe out the entire Elite 4 with just their starter Pokemon back in the OG Game Boy days… Anyway, we all know the correct game to play instead of DBD is Civilization.

Any account you link to your Behaviour account is for keepsies and irreversible. So yeah, you won't be able to log out and your progress on both your Steam and PS5 accounts will be linked permanently. But I think you'd eventually need to buy the game on PS5 if you want to keep playing the game on that platform (not totally…

I main one of the least popular Killers to verse (Legion), so it's not so much about trying to make trials fun as it is to avoid play styles, perks and add-ons that are deemed "unfun". So that means bringing nothing that can grind the game to a halt, no Thanatophobia, no Dying Light and no Filthy Blade add-on. I've versed…
-
Of course it's still trying to find a good match, but past a certain point it "turns off" in the sense that it stops trying to find a suitable match for you once a certain amount of time has elapsed and can match you with anyone. That's my understanding anyway. Please send some of those low hour noobs my way for when I…
-
I can only go by my own personal impressions (since I don't really know for sure), but as someone who plays on both PC and Switch, I feel like I get the exact same level of opponent on both platforms. The only real "evidence" I can point at to support this is the fact that I get the exact same BP incentives on both…

Personally, I'd take a mori over the same hook sacrifice animation that I've seen over a thousand times already. I'm even kinda disappointed if they choose to hook me when I'm the last Survivor left. Killers that slug for it are a frustration, but hooked or Mori'd you're still dead either way, so what really is the…

Is the new GTA really coming out soon? I'm not a fan of the series, so I genuinely don't know. I kinda expected to be reading the next Song of Ice and Fire book before GTA 6 was released, it's been in development for that long. I mean, Nintendo even made two giant open world Zelda games within the same development period.…
-
My main goal is the get my first P100. My Legion is closer (P37) so I'll probably focus on them first, but Meg is not far behind at P30. Other than that, maybe try to finally achieve an Iri 1 rank as Survivor. I would probably have to dedicate the entire month to just playing Survivor games and I'm Solo Q only, so it may…

It's definitely a good thing to have other games to play alongside DBD. The spell that it held over me has kinda broken this year. It's still joined a handful of games that I think I'll probably play forever (Tetris, Street Fighter and the Sid Meier's Pirates! remake, if you're wondering), but I'm no longer completely…
-
They don't, but when the queues are long for one side (and likewise instant for the other), it doesn't just "feel" like SBMM is turned off, it really is turned off. I've had some of the most miserable DBD games of my life playing the event mode today. Just nothing but the strongest builds and Killers back to back. I do not…
-
Quality of life wise, 2024 has been a good year for seeing most of the things I want to see come to the game. I think the game is in a pretty good spot right now and a huge improvement over how it was even 2 years ago when I first started playing. But I can still think of a few improvements to be made in 2025: Shared…

You say that like Resilience and Botany aren't two of the strongest Survivor perks in the game. Resi is one of the best all round utility perks to run and a couple of Botanys can reset a team incredibly quickly. It's a fantastic team perk. It's true that Resi will only shave 2 seconds off your self heal time tho, so you…

If you don't enjoy snowball fights and making snowman plays, then there's still the regular queue for you. This is the reason why they split the queues and why a win or a loss doesn't impact your MMR, so that those of us who enjoy interacting with the event stuff can fully enjoy it and those who don't can just play the…
-
Totally agree with all of these suggestion except the one for more snowmen. Especially the one to see snow pile auras. It can be tricky to find them on the indoor maps. There are plenty of snowmen in the trial already and besides that, I don't think my Nintendo Switch could handle it.
-
I typically like to dress my characters for the season (or for the current event). So right now, most of my mains are wearing their knitted sweaters. You gotta be practical even if you're trapped in the fog! Susie has the Knife from the Never Stop Slashing skin because I think it looks a bit like an icicle and the button…
-
Nope, it's not just you. I have the same issue whenever I play on PC. First game always has a few moments where the game freezes (in the first couple of minutes) and then everything runs just fine. It's weird and I have no idea what might be causing it or if it even counts as a bug, but it is a little bit annoying. The…
-
Aww, thank you! That's such a lovely thing to say. Spend those well earned Auric Cells wisely, you guys. I hope everyone here enjoys plenty of fun snowskull fights and snowman jump scares for the rest of the festive period. Appreciate all of you. After all, even if we don't always agree as a community, we're all here…
-
I'm a huge advocate of the Self-Care, Botany, Resilience combo. It's only 4 seconds slower than self healing with a med-kit and basically gives you an infinite med-kit that the Killer can't ever knock out of your hands.
-
That actually does sound like they're giving away some worthwhile freebies. OK, so I joined up and frankly, I find Discord to be kind of a bewildering website to use and I'm way too old to care about learning a new thing. So I don't know how to find my way around but yeah, I think they are one time use first come first…
-
So why do I have to join Discord to get these? It's bad enough that I had to open a Twitch account and now I have to join Discord as well? (I really miss the Switch only codes for Twitch drops). Someone please tell us what they are so I can decide if I want to pass on them or not. If it's just more banners and badges then…

Honestly, I don't really see a lot of toxicity (at least not as much as some players report). Yes, I've experienced my fair share of teabags, GG EZs and slugging to bleed out Killers, but it's maybe no more than 1 in 10 games that something "toxic" ever happens. That said, I play on anon mode to keep my Steam profile…
-
I've definitely been getting regular Ormond more often. So yeah, the realm probably is boosted and I'm just getting unlucky. Oh well, it's not my favourite Killer map, but at least it's wintery, home turf for my main and a decent enough map for Billy, so it's not all bad.
-
To be honest, I think this is an unworkable idea. Not only would it add more time to the process of queuing up for a trial, it's also not very fair. Not unless the Survivors also knew which Killer they would be going up against. It's way too strong for the Killer side since they could guarantee a ban for any perk that…
-
If the Killer is camping the slug, they can at any time end the stalemate by hooking the slug (and maybe also spawning the hatch), but they're actively choosing not to. Meanwhile, the other Survivor can either hide for hatch and wait for the slug to bleed out or give themselves up and… die, I guess? Neither of those are…
-
That's kind of a shame. I never got to play it because my mobile is too ancient for games, but I read they had some pretty neat ideas (like more emotes and Killer bots to practice against). Also, please tell me we'll see some of the cooler mobile skins and moris make it into the main game so they won't be lost forever…
-
I won't pretend to be a Chucky main or even to be all that skilled with him, but he is a Killer I enjoy playing and he doesn't feel all that different than before the nerf… I'd say he still feels stronger than before the removal of his Scamper (imho, the "nerf" that wasn't really a nerf. They just raised his skill floor a…
-
This was the number 1 thing I was hoping we might get from the Myers update. But I guess it would have been a lot of extra work for a character that I imagine most players already own. I think maybe it should only work in tier 1, though (I'm kinda tired that the new Killers have so many strings to their bows but barely any…

These event queues don't work because they make the already iffy match making somehow ever worse, queues for both modes become much longer and to top it off, players are forced to join the event queue even if they don't want to because it's the only way to earn cosmetics and complete the tome. They way they've approached…
