Wow Mettle of Man No Mither Build is so hard to Proc
While doing nonsense tome tasks like "Disturb 25 birds" I am running the No Mither MOM build. I can't get it to proc, lol. I am up 2 protection hits so far. I hope I proc it before I finish the bird quest.
Question: how does Mettle of Man track the protection hits? I see the hit events but I don't see any tokens or changes to MoM.

Fixed it for you.
1/3 of the perk icon lights up after each protection hit as far as I remember.

Nevermind I finally got it to work. Not sure why but apparently MoM has 1/3rd of it marked up when you proc the hit. Dunno why it didn't work the first time around.
Anyway I got it to work. It was a dumb game but the look on Billy's face when he hit me and I just kept running must have been priceless.

Mettle Of Man gets the protection hits off of the protection hit category that rewards 200

Is there a different Protection Hit event? I got two of those Protection hits in the first game I tried and didn't get the perk to fill-in. It was the type wehre someone is on the floor and you try to save, but get hit.
Protection Hit event shows and you get BP, but no MOM Stack.
I reliably get the stacks when I get hit while the killer is carrying someone else. Same Protection hit event.

Protection +100 is common when taking a hit .5 seconds when a survivor is picked up, taking hits (not even as a joke) for a generator, or some times taking a hit for a healthy survivor
Protection +200 is taking hits for an injured survivor while healthy, take a hit for a survivor being carried after .5 seconds of them being picked up, taking hits for a downed survivor

Mettle of Man is useless anyway, there's no point in running it over something like borrowed.

There's a cool-down to how fast you can earn protection hits, sadly. :(
