Struggle Phase rework proposal
This whole struggle phase as it is right now is incredibly outdated, here is a quick and simple solution
Struggle phase lasts 20 seconds, but you will get skill checks to keep yourself on the hook for the additional 40, even if you miss a skill check you will only lose a very small amount of time on hook that being only the time taken to hit that skill check, you would be hit by another skill check directly after the previous failed one, so you wouldn't even lose more than a second on hook. More importantly this would help fill the gap in the Survival category, giving you like 375 survival points each time you hit a skill check successfully, a total of 8 skill checks every 5 seconds which would give you (if you hit all of them) a total of an easy 3k points in survival. The 20 base seconds also means people won't be completely off guard that they are on second hook and a noise que should be added to help notice it even more, helping people (like myself) not die because I wasn't paying attention to what hook I was on.
That's just my recommendation would like to her what you would do or feed back to my recommendation

Just make it to hold down a button instead of smashing. Or even better, not doing anything any just "hanging around" so I can alt tab during this boring part of the game.
