Just played Scratched Mirror v 4 Spine Chill Users
I have never been more frustrated playing this killer. They run to all the hard loops and infinites the moment you are within their detection range. The "counter" of looking sideways or moonwalking when approaching doesn't even matter. Some reconsideration is needed if they think it's better to apparently favor a new player's way of learning by making a killer weak in a certain aspect. Tier 1 is nothing but all negatives against these users.
[EDIT]: I played on Coal Tower, which is a completely fine map for Scratched Mirror. The conditioned logic of SM Myers being only viable in indoor maps needs to stop.

Damned survivors adapting again. Poor Myers is actually an innocent bystander this time due to the devs um, improvement to the stealth mechanic.

"Improvement"

Damn that's rough.

You can try not looking directly at them.

I get it's frustrating that the stars aligned this way but how often is this realistically going to happen? Unless Spine Chill becomes a new meta survivor perk, but I don't know if I see that happening.
2 -
That's why I believe that Ghostface is a threat more than Myers, now. They know when I'm coming but I least my TR and RS are hidden so I can sneak better than Myers

Killers: why don't survivors just adapt?
Survivors: adapt new counters to existing killer loadouts
Killers: no not like that
(Is a joke pls don't put me on a hook)

mories you instead

You can't mori me, I'm a Nea main and Nea is the Entity

That's absurd, nobody uses Spine Chill. Myers got buffed!
🙃

Easy solution: Implement the immunity to all Survivor detection tools into Scratched Mirror.

I don't think you can call a killer change an adaptation on the surviors end. They still play the same they just get extra information from what the devs did thats not adapting

Survivora job is to survive lol and if they sacrifice a perk slot to stay alive tough luck

That's actually a good fix.

a "new player" shouldn't play jump scares Myers anyway, since it's nothing like the normal game - don't get me wrong, it's a lot of fun both as killer and survivor, if Myers plays to scare survivors and not to try hard, but still you won't learn anything about the game.
Long live Spine Chill!

Why not just go ahead and remove spine chill and premo from the game instead?

Is a joke, chill
(Someone get my pun plz)

He wasn't talking about himself when he said "a new players way of learning". He was talking about why the change was made. The change had been made to make it easier for new survivors to learn how to play the game. Now new survivors can rely on spinechill and premonition a lot more, and there's nothing myers players can do to counter it other than walk backwards everywhere (which is seriously debilitating).

This is a problem only for perma T1 myers (scratched mirror) though, in any other case you want to at least be T2, so I don't really see the real problem here, other than a bit of venting for an unlucky game, even against a full spine chill team.

Spine Chill has now became meta
3 -
Yeah just moonwalk all the time, 4head. Who needs eyes anyway?!

Has it though?

This

Yes

Because the use of Spine and Premo does not hinge entirely and solely on whether or not EW1 Myers is immune to them?

Did you use an indoor map offering when playing Scratched Mirrors Myers? Cause I can't really recall any infinites on those maps and those maps are like made for Mirror Myers.
Even if they can see you're coming then you've still go full aura reading of where they're going and you can try to cut them off. If you use it on an outdoor map, then you're just asking for the game to fail. Mirror Myers only really work on indoor maps where survivors can't see you coming and if they run Spine Chill, then they will start running and then the smartest move for you is trying to cut them off.
I had multiple games with Mirror Myers yesterday (cause spoopy Halloween) and even survivors running Spine Chill I had no issue catching. It's all about playing it smart, you get all the information of where nearby survivors are, use it.

The relevance of this post should not be limited to if I was using an indoor map. No, I didnt, but the community's logic of "scratched mirror is only good indoors" is not something that should be conditioned into their playstyle with the killer.of course with indoor maps like Lery's, you are mostly always broken from LoS, but SM Myers is still capable on outdoor locations. I played on Coal Tower, which carries a decent amount of cover for my approach, but is open enough for the most observative survivors to tell where I could possibly come from. From the way they played, they for sure (and they did) have Spine Chill, and easily avoided me using the perk itself and the already existent hardcounter of simply paying attention to their surroundings through sight and sounds. I may have gotten a hit or two, but it was not enough lol. Tier 1 is practically a useless annoyance now that it's nothing but all downsides with no pros to support it (other than 0 TR) without its former unique ability. It's just not fun or great to use anymore.

Can I have all these spinechill survivors everybody talk about in the forum these days, please? Instead of the usual DH, BT, DS, Adrenaline I face everyday? I’m ready to depip for that, not joking.

This. All of this.

I have 2k hours into the game and know pretty much everything there is to know. That's why I'm saying you need to take shortcuts. That's what indoor maps are good for. If survivors are running at the edge of the map, then walk into one of the rooms, either you catch the survivors as they hit the corner of the map or they'll realise that you're not there anymore and start to panic, not knowing if you've left them or are trying to catch up to them. That's where they have to make the decision to keep running or attempt to run back the way they came. That's where you're in full control cause you know exactly what they're doing but they have no idea what you are doing.
Mirror Myers isn't meant to be used for chases like any other killer, he's about using the information he gets handed. This information is only useful on an indoor maps where you can hide yourself, if you attempt to use it on an outdoor map then survivors have as much information as you do. Lery's and Hawkins are both indoor maps with a lot unsafe pallets, so they're good for spoopy Myers games. If you attempt to use Mirror Myers on The Game though then you're gonna get looped into oblivion cause that map is safe pallet haven.
He can be tough to figure out cause he plays so differently than other killers, but in my experience I've had no problems with the Spine Chill/Premonition changes.

It might be fine, but that map is not comparable to Lery's. In indoor map, survivors might know you're coming but have no idea from which direction and you can easily cut them out, on other maps this doesn't work so well for the simple reason there is more LoS.

When people get upset about Spine Chill.
We really are pulling at threads these days.

I used scratched mirror yesterday too and had the same map (weird), two SC users; but I still managed to grab them 😂😂
Played a few more matches and had quite a bit of fun, only had one match where it was a bit miserable but I was testing different perks out together; and that group not one had spine chill or any detection perks. Go figure!

Evil Within 1 could get a small buff but think that’s all he needs. Either buffing the lunge or movement speed would probably be the right way to go about it.
