Killer - The Technician
Killer: The Technician
A map-surveillance Killer, able to find and locate Survivors with his power, the Surveillance Camera. Survivors who step in the red zones of them will be located easily and have status effects put on them depending on the Killers add-ons.
His personal perks, Re-Wiring, Finish the Job, and Ready for Action allow him to stall generator progress, get hints
on where Survivors are, and to bring down each Survivor one by one.
Weapon: Glowing Axe
A axe that glows on the attacking part of it. The lights travel in a line and shift in colors like a rainbow.
Power: Surveillance Camera
The Technican starts the match with 1 camera in hand. 5 more are spread throughout the map, disabled but ready to be collected. You can only carry 1 camera at a time. He is able to monitor active cameras with the Surveillance Tablet. You will carry the tablet around, and activating it allows you to switch between each camera. You can see Survivors with it, however, you cannot move while using it.
A red penalty zone will be active with the camera. It will spread like a diamond's bottom sides. Stepping in the zone will give the killer a visual alert and for 30 seconds after leaving the penalty zone, the Survivor will be slowed down to 3 metres a second. They cannot sprint. This effect will not happen if The Technician is within 32 metres of the zone.
Cameras will always have a whirring sound that gets more intense the closer a Survivor is to one.
Common add-ons:
Tape - A small piece of tape that doesn't completely cover the red zone. Slightly reduces visibilty of the red zone. It will still be detectable from that area, but it will not seem like it does.
Small taser - A small portable taser that can be attached to the camera. Stuns survivors for 1 second when stepping in the red zone.
Uncommon add-ons:
Light Bulb - A tripwired lightbulb that is triggered upon stepping in the zone. Blinds Survivors for 2 seconds if they step in the red zone.
Medium Sized Tape - A medium sized piece of tape that still doesn't completely cover the red zone, but does more then the smaller sized tape. Considerably reduces the area of the red zone. This is a visual change and does not reduce the amount of area for the Survivor to step in.
Rare add-ons:
LED Light Attachment - A big LED light that is intended as a flashlight or extension to some sort of light making device. Slightly increases the area of the red zone.
Sharpened Stick - A sharp, long stick that can inflict serious wounds. It protrudes from the camera.Hits a Survivor if they step in a zone. If they do not get out in 5 seconds, the stick will protrude again, but will only cause the Deep Wound effect. Survivors have 30 seconds to Mend themselves.
Very Rare add-ons:
Muffler - A sound nullifer that is to be put over speakers or other electronics. Removes whirring sound from cameras.
Large LED Light - A large, extremely bright light that covers the camera part of the surveillance device. Tremendously increases the red zone. Removes ability to monitor with the Tablet.
Ultra Rare add-ons:
Ice Sprayer - A canister that sprays cold ice. Causes Survivors to slow down and feel a chill in their spine. All Survivors within a 32 meter radius of an activated camera suffer from the Exposed status effect for 30 seconds.
Iridescent Portal - A small circle that can create portals and teleport. Allows for teleporting to an activated camera. Can only be used within 4 seconds of a Survivor stepping in a zone.
Perks:
Re-Wiring - You can take a Generator and rewire it to function slower. This action takes 10/8/6 seconds to complete, and after it is done, the Generator will take 2/3/4x slower to finish, and the amount of Survivors working on the generator will not change the rate of it's progress. This has a cool down of 60/50/40 seconds before you can do it again.
Finish The Job - Hitting a Survivor causes you to get an urge to finish the job. After hitting a Survivor and putting them into the injured state, you will only be able to hit them. Hitting another Survivor will cause the Survivor you hit to be healed back to healthy state. The Survivor you hit will become the Obsession and their aura will be revealed to you until you put them in the Dying State. Grants 150% more bloodpoints in the Hit event.
Ready for Action - Getting near a Survivor causes you to become very excited. Once you are within 32 metres of a Survivor, your weapon will start to glow with a light attached to it (equipping this perk would cause you to have a red bar light attachment to your weapon). Depending on the severity of the aura, you would be closer or farther from a Survivor.
32-28 metres - White
27-20 metres - Yellow
19-10 metres - Orange
9-0 metres - Red
