Ha funny this game isnt scary
The archives show us a creepy side to dbd that weve never seen. It kinda bothers me how eerie the alchemists vid was and how not scary the rest of the game is. There was so much death and ######### during the transition of this new killer we will probably see next...
Point is make the game scary please devs. Put a bunch of dead bodies every where and shid. The new lighting for those lamps at loops and buildings caught my eye. Make the game darker and less colorful. This isnt a marvel movie, we are literally talking murderers and theres these bright green and bright blue and bright orange maps. Make maps darker and add more scary #########. Those animations are so cool I want the game to actually compare to that.

No game will stay scary forever. You can play the Horrorgame where you ######### yourself during the first playthrough 5 times, and you will not be scared anymore.
After you have a few hours on DBD, it is simply not scary.
However, I agree on the visual appearance, the game used to look really good. Now it looks not good at all, playing in Daylight is kinda strange.

Yes I know but stealth should be rewarded and do u actually find hawkins scary? Have u seen that vid, I want that but in game type shid.

I play feng and wear bright clothes. I have no intention of that. I think meta has changed for survivors in a bad way and would prefer blendette over a game that could be very creepy but instead people are running around CLICKY CLICKY WANT SOME TEAS BRUV like... Damn

I mean stealth would nerf Spirit. Shes so strong because of the current meta.

no? she could just find people. And end the chase quick if shes smart. Idk The environment and ambiance should be creepier maybe not darker but like, make that green shid less vibrant and overall make all the maps less vibrant. The skybox is ugly on every map. They need to add a bunch more entity spider ######### everywhere

Yes but finding people requires her not to use her ability so a good squad of stealth survivors will be good. Sadly as u said the current meta is ideal for her because of Clicky Clicky.

A sky box is basically just the background. from all sides and the map is placed in the middle. Im fairly certain they use sky boxes.

Honestly I want them to reintroduce the moonlight offerings, but instead of changing the darkness/lighting it should instead change the atmosphere and moon color. I.E Red Moon, Blue Moon, Orange Moon, ETC. Could be fun to have the entire outside map a deep crimson color.

if you play the same horrorgame for lets say 2k hours, you will, at some point, no longer be scared by the monsters.
this is something that applies to pretty much all horror games, DbD is just one that will probaply never have an actual ending to it, therefore you will spend more and more time with it.

I know the game will eventually lose its scare factor after awhile, but I feel they could keep up the atmosphere. Prolly in the last 6 months i was scared once. Goofing off with a friend and body blocking him while he was doing a totem and a GF walks by us unaware we are there.
Each map has unique Hooks associated with the map not killer. Uniqueness is important.
Different atmospheres for each map as well. It shouldn't be the same generic game every time with a different title set.
Create the feeling of isolation even more and dread. Even tho I know there's 3 other survivors and 1 killer I want to feel like I'm alone. Add some enviroment into the mix and weather conditions.

Well yeah but I dont even really consider that I am being literally slaughtered. It has so much potential
