The Alchemist
The Alchemist is most likely the next killer and the next map is probably the swamp map with sewer tile.
During the transition SPOILER WARNING The alchemist stabs himself with the putrid serum during the entitys transition. The entity was taking him to a new trial. This means he would keep this putrid state yes? If a survivor is close to death and escapes, they return to the previous state they were in pre trial. Therefore this survivor killer character, the alchemist, would remain putrid once he enters the trial.
In the files, you can find a new killer named Sweden, their ability is referred to as Crazy. Putrid serum makes people crazy. In the clip he goes crazy after injecting himself. His ability apparently gives hime the ability to one hit survivors. The Alchemist is the name of his archives. In general his name sounds like a dbd killers name. They all start with "The" Nuff said
AS FOR THE MAP
The sewer swamp map was being worked on ages ago and you can actually look up and find the sewer tile that is totally unrelated to pennywise. Mat was confused when he was told by The King during an interview that there wasnt gonna be a map for this next chapter. He added that they sometimes do more than what the roadmap says. Now they are reworking a map I believe but The King specifically said "new map" therefore there probably will be a new map. My reason to believe its gonna be the swamp sewer map is that the map seemed finished in the clip from their past stream AND during the entity trial transition on the alchemists lore vid, you can see these almost dead figures that kind of have a windigo type body that reminded me of hag who comes from a village near cannibals. I assume that there are others of similar health to hag.
This post is gonna be funny in about 34 days when the next chaper comes out and I am completely wrong. Very excited for that. Hey devs fix the game bye

The "one shot" referred to in the code actually refers to audio, as in play this audio clip once without repeating it. The Archives also talk about him trying to find the right dose without hurting himself and such, I'm hoping he's the next killer, would love one themed around the Hallowed Blight/Putrid Serum.

I really do hope we get The Alchemist as a Killer this year if not next, his story, though I criticized it hard, is interesting. The idea of a person going to such lengths to achieve power and not only power but getting it from such an obscure source that has unknown side effects is something I personally enjoy in a character. If this is what is happening and we got a tease for a future Killer then I will say that BHVR has finally impressed me with their creativity when it comes set up and character creation. If The Alchemist is a future Killer this year then this guy was teased a year ago and then we got him which is pretty cool.

i believe he is going to have 2 different modes:
a mode with injected flower nectar and one without. i also think the flowers from last years halloween event will return with him as a side objective for both him and the survivors. here is how i think it works: the flowers spawn all around the map. both killer and survivors can interact with them and harvest their nectar.if the survivors succesfully harvested all the nectar from a plant, it dries up and dies, making it ununsable for the killer (for a set time, then the flower respawns). if the killer however interacts with one of these flowers, he fills up his syringe and is now able to enter his injected mode whenever he wants. this mode will probaply consist of him getting some sick buffs (similar to a plague collecting her corrupt purge) in movementspeed and "strength" - whatever that means. if he runs out however, he will eigther drop into a 115% mms mode (like any other normal killer), or actually in a weakened state with only 110% mms.
but what does "strength" reffer to? this could mean many things:
he might be able to oneshot survivors in this mode, he might be able to destroy pallets with a mere swing of his M1, he might also be able to flatten windows, making them a normal path to walk through with an animation or he might be able to just immediately grab survivors who come too close to him.
of course this mode would be timelimited, so he needs to refill on flowers all the time.
this would also lead to survivors finally getting a secondary objective, as they would now have to decide weather they do gens or harvest nectar to deny the killer his powerful form.
ofc thats all just speculation, however thats what i think could happen.
we'll find out soon enough ^^

Damn this is so EFFIN cool! Man! Thanks! I was so mad when people were saying Werewolf because tbh that sounded boring as Hell. More UNIQUE killers we've not seen a thousand times and unique takes on older tropes ARE what make DBD what it is.

The files Leaks had said only cells were listed for currency making chapter 17 licensed but yesterday they were updated adding shards to the currency making it an OC. Leaks by Daylight isn't always correct and should always be taken with a grain of salt as things can change before officially announced or released.
