i never realized how bad smurfing in this game was until i watched my brand new friend play...
hes a brand new survivor, like 2 hours in the game watching killers who are clearly smurfing/deranking (full builds, noed, mori,) instantly tunneling him off hook and face camping nodding over and over is pathetic.
this needs to stop. if every new player that tries dbd experiences things like this they arent going to want to ever play again. they are killing the growth of this game.

In all fairness, many people use BP that they get from survivor to lvl their killers before playing them, and vice versa. The plauge in the screenshot above...was bad. Having 4 perks just means they hit at least lvl 15, and NOED has a really high chance of popping up since it's not a teachable perk.
Beyond that... apparently matchmaking really sucks for ppl ranks 16-20.

That's what I was going to say. My killer rank is like 18 because I took a few months away and haven't played much killer since I came back. My pig is fully loaded. So I would look like I've been deranking. Of course I'm a terrible killer. So that helps.

And what about a new Killer player logging in, getting looped for 4 minutes, eating 8 pallets, and having all 5 gens pop before he even downs someone once because the genrush meta sees 5 gens pop in 4 minutes?
That could kill the growth of the game, too.

People Smurf in every game especially competitive games, although it's looked down on to use a Smurf account. it's usually what people use to experiment with things that they wouldn't be able to do in their own league they do this so they can practice without the pressure of losing points,rank, etc. Because it's not a serious setting they most of the time will solely use their Smurf to practice, I've gone against smurfs in every game especially Fighters but it doesn't discourage me from playing it just motivates me to get better. people need to stop having this mentality that just because you lose to someone who is more skilled than you that you will never beat them, if the world worked that way then no one would strive to beat another persons record or feats.

Like others have said its not all smurfs some may not have played in a while they are in a lower bracket.
Many do come back to play events and dbp's after breaks so it may seem worse than normal.

Uh smurfing is bad on both sides. No reasonable person is going to say it's okay.

Smurfing is a scourge on PS4 for both sides as someone can buy 1 copy of the game and make an infinite amount of accounts which will not only share the 1 copy of the game but the PSPlus subscription to play online too.

Smurfs are very frustrating. In my opinion a person who don't want to get frustrated trying things in their own rank shouldn't expect lower rank people to get frustrated for them. So even the "best" smurf is selfish in his core. Not even mentioning people that like to stomp lower ranks.

Unfortunately I smurfed when I switched from PS4 to PC. I wasn't deliberately trying to ruin any days but I absolutely rekt poor baby survivors.
