Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Hex : No One Escapes Death perk change

image.png

When a Survivor is hooked , No One Escapes Death receives a token up to a maximum of 2/3/4 tokens.

Once the Exit Gates are powered , if there is a Dull Totem remaining on the Map , this Hex is applied to it.

Once the Exit Gates are powered , previously hooked Survivors suffer from the Exposed Status Effect and your Movement Speed is increased by 4%.

The Hex effects persists as long as the related Hex Totem is standing.

I don't think NOED needs any changes. It already has adequate counterplay in its current state, both before and after the exit gates are powered.

The only change I want to see is that the Hex takes effect immediately, rather than on first hit.

And yes i know that Hex: Ruin and Hex: Thrill of the Hunt only notify you when hey activate the first time, but Exposed is kind of a big deal. And every other Exposed effect tells you instantly.

My biggest gripe about No One Escapes Death is it activating upon hatch close.

The perk is a safety net for the killer, and punishes survivors for rushing gens without cleansing totems.

If one survivor is tunneled out of the game, two other survivors disconnect, and I barely had time to cleanse one dull totem before the hatch spawned, why am I being punished with NOED??

Adrenaline shouldn't activate either (not sure if it does; I don't use this crutch often enough to know).
