Some people have forgotten what certain terms mean
People keep saying some windows are infinites. They aren’t truly infinites anymore. A true infinite is something you can loop infinitely (hence the name). Something you can loop 3 times before it is blocked is not an infinite, it is a god loop. People have forgotten about the true infinites the game had when it first came out.
Same thing with proxy camping. Like guys there are no gens left and I literally see scratch marks right next to the hook, give me literally one reason to leave.
Same with tunneling. Tunneling is specifically focusing on one survivor and completely ignoring the others. Tunneling is not downing a survivor who got off the hook 2 minutes ago because they were just standing in a dead zone for a quick down. If you did basically anything other than chase a single survivor. It’s not tunneling.
Everyone just needs to calm down a bit.

No one's forgotten about true infinites. You and I both know that people are referring to windows that require M1 killers to either bloodlust the survivor down or have the entity block the window for them

The terms were made up by players in the first place, so it's not shocking that people don't agree on the exact definition as it evolves as times goes as well. Like when I started, flapping your arms on a hook meant the Killer was camping. Now either new players or Killer mains have completely screwed it up as people use it for both.
Also people get self defensive about being accused of running a loop or tunneling... in which case they usually respond "it's not my fault you don't know how to mind game or hide" when the person was just looping or tunneling and don't want to admit to it.

Haddonfield has a true infinite at the Myers house if the window at the top of the basement steps spawns and the survivor has Balanced Landing.
There are also several true infinites against Huntress on some tiles, like Wretched Shop or Storehouse depending on the orientation of windows.
Most spots that people call infinites are really semi-infinite. But since this game is all about time they might as well be infinites because by the time you catch the guy the game will be over.

I question this. BL would only pop once in a chase, so they can't keep reusing the loop if BL is crucial to it.

The 75% fall recovery let's the survivor loop that window several times after the speed boost BL gives wears off. There's a specific way to fall that gives you more distance than the killer can make up for.

No it's still an infinite without the speed boost. It's the fact you recover from a fall faster than makes it infinite.

Oh I see, thanks for explaining that as I overlooked the other part of that perk!

I'm a flapper! I'll flap til I quit playing. It just makes good sense.

I actually didn't know flapping was an indicator that the killer was nearby. I usually do it to indicate that I'm being camped but it ends up in a poor attempt at a save 😂
Good to know I was on to something at least.

I tend to flap my arms wildly if the killer is near. But when the killer leaves, I allow my arms to reach the hook, then stop
