Am I stupid for thinking a low teir killer (clown) is good?
I ask this question, because I want to make a teir list based on how good I am at a killer, but I don't want to be bombarded by hate messages for not putting nurse, and spirit at the top.

I mean, a Tier List is never 100% objective. Like, I would rank Pig quite high, because I get really good results with her, other people would say that she is one of the weakest Killers. But Clown is nowhere near Nurse or Spirit.
Overall, I dont think that Clown is really weak. He got powercreeped by Freddy (Freddy can do the same (Slowdown during Chase), but has the better ability, does not need to recharge his Snares, can teleport), but overall I think that the Maps are the bigger problem for Clown, there is no point in the Gas when the Survivor can drop the Pallet early and be safe.
However, Badham and Hawkins are quite good for Clown, Survivors can drop the Pallet early, but it is not safe. So his Gas does more.
So yeah, I dont think that you are stupid. But I would be very surprised if people would agree that he is compareable to Nurse or Spirit.

I don't think anyone will mind if you're not good playing nurse. My nurse is complete trash lol
Go ahead, this is about how good you are at each killer. No one knows how good you are at a killer better than you do.

In general, I would say it depends on what you mean by "good" and what you mean by "stupid".
In your specific case, though, what you're proposing has nothing to do with the objective viability of the killers but rather your own personal skills. It's not even about your opinions, just your experience. And no one in their right mind is going to tell you you're "stupid" just for being better at playing certain killers.

No, in fact a lot of Low-Tier Killers are mained by very good Killer mains that can utilize them... despite those Killers being the lowest on the tier... or even THE lowest on the tier list in-general.
It's all up to what you interpret as "Top-Tier" or Mid-Tier or whatever... The reason people categorize Killers in a tier list... is because they're referring to the GENERAL player-base that faces them... to some Survivors The Nurse can be easy to go against... or the same case is with the Spirit... but these tier lists are talking about the average player that faces these Killers... or "Casuals" if you will.
For me, I use every Killer (Except Nurse and Spirit because I don't want a crutch to rely on.) and I utilize them to the fullest that I can... despite their limitations... I'm not a god at the game, but my average games are usually 3ks with these low tier Killers like Pig or Wraith... That's average for all my Killers btw, i'll get a 4k every now and then... or even a lot... it depends honestly on the Survivors you're facing and the Killer you're using... Like if you use Spirit and you know how to use basic M1 Killers than you'll most likely 4k...
If you use Pig on a SWFs or Coordinated team... than you'll have a good challenge and you won't just steam roll the match... because the Survivors know what they're doing...
Most of the time you won't get these teams sadly, and it's just one or two good Survivors on the team... but it all really depends on your teams coordination that makes a "good team" vs a bad team.
(This is at Red Ranks Rank 1 btw... but like I said this isn't bragging or anything.)
But enough of all that... the point is, if you think Clown is a good Killer and you can use them to the fullest while keeping a pretty good average ratio of Kills... than MORE POWER TO YA! Red Ranks and ranks in-general could use more Clowns anyways... it's mostly drowned out by Spirit (In Red Ranks at least...) So the variety is welcomed!

I'm glad you actually went into detail about why you think clown is not the greatest, but I think it is less how objectively good a killer is, and more the person playing. Everyone always tries to just land the 1 shot bottle, but I ignore those sorts of add-ons in favor for more bottles, and longer lasting, so I can block exits, to make them move predicably. Everyone seems to think that the killers who have powers good for Chase are better, but imo, it's more fun to use killers that need to outsmart survivors, rather than those who can propel themselves farther.
