Sole Survivor Rework
Sole Survivor: As more of your friends fall to the Killer, you become shrouded in isolation and the Killer's Aura-reading abilities towards you are disrupted.
Your Aura cannot be read by the Killer within a maximum range of 20/22/24 metres for each killed or sacrificed Survivor.
Increases your chances of being the Obsession.
The Killer can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.
My Idea: As more of your friends fall to the Killer, you become shrouded in isolation and the Killer's Aura-reading abilities toward you are disrupted.
For each each hook action the Killer completes on another Survivor, your Aura cannot be read by the Killer within a maximum range of 6/7/8 meters.
Increases your chances of being the Obsession.
The Killer can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.
My Reasoning As To Why It's Bad: Sole Survivor is a cool idea for a perk, and I really like it, but it's requirements are very strict and situational. If one of your teammates are dead, and there is enough time left in the trial for you to get decent usage out of this perk, then your team has most likely lost, in which case you could have run a more impactful perk to prevent you and your teammates from even being in that situation in the first place. Even getting the rare usage that this perk promises is also dependent on whether or not the Killer has any Aura-reading perks. If he doesn't, you wasted a perk slot. In addition, for it to even fully counter A Nurse's Calling, two of your teammates must be dead, as A Nurse's Calling reads Auras of Survivors within 28 meters, and even when two of your teammates are dead, you'll likely still be spotted, because whoever is healing you is also most likely not running Distortion or Sole Survivor.
What My Rework Would Do: At Tier 3 of the perk, when the Killer would perform 3 hooks (the same amount it takes to sacrifice a Survivor), you still get the 24 meters of Aura-reading immunity, but it doesn't require one of your teammates to be dead. However, if all of those 3 hooks happen to be on the same Survivor, you still get the same rewards that the former version of the perk promised you. You could even buff the values to 7/8/9 meters, so that it fully counters A Nurse's Calling after 3 hooks on other Survivors. It's important to stress that the stacks are gained from the Killer performing hook actions, and they are not necessarily gained by other Survivors entering the next hook stage. This is so that the perk does not incentivize leaving your teammates on the hook to either enter the struggle phase or to be sacrificed, so that you can get stacks. If you want maximum usage of this perk, all of your teammates must receive 3 hooks, and not 1 or 2.
At its core, my rework gives Sole Survivor the Dying Light treatment, and essentially makes Sole Survivor the Survivor equivalent of Dying Light. This is not only good for gameplay purposes, but it also fits in with the theme of the Halloween Chapter, being that Michael and Laurie are polar opposites, and really playing around the Obsession mechanic.

Okay okay... but why only tier 3?

I didn't want to change the perk's maximum values, and if I did, it would only be to fully counter A Nurse's Calling. I just wanted to change the way you acquire those values. Also, people mainly use the tier 3 version of a perk, with the exception of Discordance, or, in rare cases, Make Your Choice.

That wasn't my point.
I just don't understand why the mechanic changes from Tier 2 to 3 (which basically means using tier 1 and 2 would be still pointless when you're levelling up a character for example, same was with Kindred 1 and mostly 2 - they wouldn't be that used until tier 3)
I don't see the point of (if it had the same mechanic) keeping it tier 1 and 2.

The mechanic stays the same across all tiers. The only thing that changes is the values.
