Who's bright idea was it to give killers host?
I understand survivors can't be host for obvious reasons but if my connection is good can I at least be matched with players of similar speeds at least. please:(

That is what I was ask me since I know it...

They can't host... Survivors and Killers now queue up to an open lobby that's empty for both sides to fill.
It doesn't work off of the Killer hosting the lobby anymore... nor does it work off of their connection either anymore... it goes off of your personal connection to BHVRs Dedicated Servers.

Dedicated Servers hasn't come there yet, I forgot.
But, when they do than what I said above would still stand...
So basically @EyeFearFoolie if you're on console than you're not experiencing what PC has right now. (Which is Dedicated Servers, or the test for it still... it's unknown if it's a test still since they haven't really said much on it since test 2...) Anyways, you're in an old system at the moment that relies on The Killers to host the lobbies and their ping must be good or decent to play normally...
There isn't a way to fix that since it's an old system... and you can't pair with specific Killers that have good ping... you'll just have to endure it until Dedicated Servers are fully released for PS4, Xbox, and maybe Switch... idk about Switch.
