Can DS be changed?

To not work after you have hooked somebody else. It's supposed to be an anti tunneling perk. Is it really tunneling if you hook somebody again after chasing, downing and hooking somebody else?
Last night I chase a survivor off of a generator, down him and hook him. I go back to the generator to kick it and get the unhook notification. I run back and chase and down the rescuer, then I hook him. Couple seconds later the original Survivor that got rescued runs into me so I down him and pick him up, boom DS. What kind of crap is that?

I agree with you. I think the current state of ds is not balanced, because you aren't able to rush kills while survivors able to rush gens. Maybe it should be active less than a minute or it should deactivate after you've hooked someone else like you said.

Are you on Switch? Cause I did that to someone last night, but only because I just got DS and was trying to test it out. If it was you — sorry!

I think it's fine. A survivor is just wasting their time if they run straight into you just so they can get the DS stun off. Taking up ~8 seconds of your time really isn't worth the perk, especially considering you can just slug them if they run at you and make them waste even more time.

Just slug him...
Free Map Pressure as well. But I guess thats too difficult.

Been saying this for a while. It's currently not an anti--tunnel perk, it's a 1 minute immunity perk.
It needs to deactivate if you hook someone else and lessen the time to 40 seconds. Then it would actually be an anti-tunnel perk. If he's chasing you longer than 40 seconds ya'll have already won the game anyway because he's throwing the game with a chase that long.

That's all well and good, but frankly I'm old and I don't remember every freaking Survivor that I have recently hooked. Maybe easy for you younguns with your good fancy memory you can do that but not me. But seriously, I don't remember who and when I previously hooked, I'm just focused on chasing and killing.

It is for somebody with a crap memory like me. I don't remember how long it's been or who I have previously hooked.

Any input here @Peanits or do the devs think a 60-second hook immunity is fair?

I mean... it's in the game so I'd assume so

I dont know if their mind has changed, but his last response (few weeks old) was that they are not planning any changes to DS.

In the meantime you can always bring a mori just in case if you don't wanna play the guessing game.
