Need help with Huntress!
I rly need help with huntress. I've got a decent hang on my hatchet throws but i feel like im being genrushed every. single. game. Fx. I just played a game and during 2 chases, 1 minute each, 3 gens had been completed. 1 more chase and the game was over. I like Huntress, but this is NOT fun.
How do i maintain pressure, even tough im in a chase?
Also most players just dogde my hatchets very well. Even when they're running in a straight line, they seem to know which direction its coming from. How do i predict their movement better, and do succesful hatchet throws?
Help me huntress mains!
Edit: Realised this isen't the correct thread to post on. Sry guys.

What perks are you running?

You gotta pay major attention to how the survivors are moving, learn their patterns, I recommend using ruin to slow the game down just a little bit. Works wonders on huntress. Learn which loops to abandon and which loops you can throw hatchets over.
You’re gonna take some losses but once you get the hang of it, it’ll get better. :)

BBQ, Ruin, Iron Maiden and Brutal Strength

Thx. What rly bothering me about her, is the lack of pressure. Im chasing and suddenly the gates are powered. Tips?

Pressure is kinda a difficult thing to suggest since the methods for it can be different per situation.

Replace Brutal for Thrilling Tremors if you can, its a good perk

Whispers is my favourite perk on huntress. She is 110 so you need to patrol gens as quickly as possible. So with whispers, you know if a generator that is less than 32m away is being worked on or not.
Also another tip: try to slug as much as you can. If you see 2 survivors and you down 1 very quickly, go for the other one. Huntress is very good at slugging! (Especially with nurses calling)

Unfortunately with huntresses 5% reduced movement speed your already going to have a difficult time traversing the map so any info/ game slowing perks may greatly benefit you.
Also knowing where survivors are like with your bbq is good also bitter murmur/ nurses calling is good as well.
But the biggest thing you need to learn is how to hit survivors accurately with your hatchets.
They May end chases before they start or just end them before the survivor reaches a critical loop.
Luckily when chasing an easier not always accurate method is to hit them while they vault or throw pallets instead of trying to hit them in the open ( which you should do).

If the survivor is looking over his shoulder, then he’s waiting for you to raise your throwing arm so he can dodge.
If he’s looking straight ahead, then you’ll be more successful with your “straight-line” shots.
this is one of the best ways I’ve learned to decide if it’s even worth it to attempt a throw.
(All of this applies to Demogorgon’s shred attack as well.)

This is a Huntress guide by Scott Jund who is well known to be one of the best Huntress players in the game.
This should help you if you’re looking to play Huntress.

Drop Iron Maiden, it's trash, even on Huntress. There are much better perks you can run.
Brutal is also not doing much at all for you as Huntress.
Replace those for something like Nurses, Discordance or Whispers.

Bitter murmur is ok also as setting an aura may help get you a cross map hit

If your biggest problem is the gen speed I recommend looking up fungoose on yt. He did a huntress build that im also running and gives good explanation about everything. Do youself a favor and watch his huntress vid ;)

Ok...why brutal?
I get why you would pick iron maiden( but don't, it's not worth it)
But why brutal?

I dont have any other perks for her

Fair enough

I always like whispers on her. The fact that you can rule out large areas of the map without actually GOING there is pretty nice considering how slow she is. Whispers will generally let you find someone within 15 seconds of the game starting.
