Seeing a few that are only going to happen via an offhand miracle. Really gets me to wondering about Tomes 3 & 4 now... geez. At least I'll be lowering my expectations early and not worrying about completing it 100% now.

According to Peanits this means that you need to participate to repair those 3 Gens, not doing them by your own.

I unfortunately was extremely skeptical about the claims that Tome 4 would be changed from the sneak peek we got. Tome 2 has me more or less convinced what we saw is exactly what we’re going to get.
i was looking forward to trying to 100% the archives, but I think this pretty much cements that that won’t be possible for me.

It's the same as "getting 4 kills" (what usually would be understood as moris) and 5 sacrifices (what usually would mean sacrifice kills). Basically, very bad phrasing. "completely repairing" means "participating in finishing repairing").

I wonder if you can just be on a gen for like 5 seconds and leave and you still get credit

For me it is impossible for a game to repair 3 generators, unless you have a very good player and this assassin with the whole game. Or that he wants to farm about or not chase you ... That is undoubtedly the most damn challenge of all roads

You can rant, or you can read other posts in this Thread. Sadly you have chosen the first option.
I mean, either you can sit the last 5 seconds (and need to be present when it is completed), or you just have to be at the Gen at some point and it gets completed with your progress in it. Could be go both ways.

If this is the case, and I think it is as I remember seeing a comment by Peanitis, then the wording needs to be changed, or just drop the 'Completely' part as that would make it seem like sitting on 3 gens from start to finish.

Make a statement with your wallet and don't purchase any future battle passes. I haven't purchased anything from these dum dums since Ash. I don't agree with a lot of what they're doing and they will be paying for it in the end. Best way to protest is with your money.

I have read all the comments in this thread, so what I said was a personal opinion based on my survivor games, I think it's more of a reflection than being complaining very loudl. And what I think about the difficulty in relation to the challenges of this volume 2

it’s like they don’t want us to learn more about THEIR LORE and finish it. atleast a lot of us know what to expect for the next one and not to buy it. Their loss in money lol

So many challenges are either luck based (your skill doesn't matter, it's up on the opponent to even allow completing it. It's outside of your control) or you legit can't finish them as solo survivor and you HAVE to play 4 men swf and ON TOP OF THAT you have to THROW the game just so 1 person can finish the challenge.
This is absolutly braindead, bhvr why? And who is responsible for that?

Yep. If you don't like it, don't buy it. I personally have bought every single piece of content DbD has ever has (aside from skins) and never regretted it. I love BHVR. They're not perfect, but they care a lot about the quality of their game.

@Peanits can you confirm that the 3 gen dark sense challenge only needs you to participate in and not complete solo three gens by yourself?

It did for me one time which was odd because I died and it still had charges. Not sure if it was consistent or what

This dead horse has been beaten so many times, just let it rest guys.
The goal of this challenge is just to get dark sense to proc. You do this by being on a gen when it completes. In other words, you need to repair it to completion, or completely repair it. It says nothing about doing this by yourself or doing this from 0% to 100%.
