Expectations for the new Survivor?

I would like them to add an Irish survivor, in the next rift they could get a lucky charm

I'm guessing the survivor will be Rin's father or mother, but it could be anyone. Nobody expected Adam to be the Spirit's Survivor (but they were connected through education, teacher-student). We're supposedly getting an oni warrior, maybe we'll get a soldier or drill sergeant, an historian, or maybe even an American weeaboo. The possibilities are endless.

This is so far fetched, believe me I know.
But if the new killer ends up being related to Rin, wouldn’t it be kinda cool if the new survivor was related to Adam? It says in the last part of his lore
“To this day, his uncle believes that Adam took off after the train crash, alive still, somewhere out there.”

I don't really have any preference for who it is as long as they have 2 super situational perks and 1 totally busted perk that eventually gets nerfed to the 9th layer of hell

Maybe that's her nerf, they make her a survivor and the dad ( replaces her ) as a killer.

I actually saw a image on Reddit, taken from the description of "Yamaoka's Estate" and how it came to be. There is a possibility that the next Killer is actually Spirit's ancestor, not her father.

The blood was absorbed into the oni mask in the teaser. Wouldn't that hint at the first Yamaoka being the next Killer?
Of course, it's possible that the next Killer is just Rin's father, but this might be a case of misdirection like what happened with Spirit and how people thought Rin's father was gonna be the next Killer, and not Rin herself. People might be thinking it's Rin's father again when it's actually a Yamaoka family member...

I’ve been wanting the same thing.
The closest thing we have is Jake with the retro head from the cosmetic store, it wouldn’t be such a bad piece if it wasn’t for those tacky goggles he wears with it.

Would be funny if we didn't get a new survivor and killer. Maybe they just reworking spirit, adding another yamaoka estate and gifting us the Feng cosmetic that won the 3rd year anniversary contests. :)

When a generator is completed you see survivors auras for 5 seconds and when the last generator is completed you see survivors aura for 5/7/10 seconds cough cough definitely not a variation of dark sense cough cough
