Why changes for the Spirit takes priority over the other killers?
Tbh I think killers like Letherface, Legion, Pig, Doctor etc needs to be first looked at.
But... since the Spirit is gonna be nerfed, most of the players are now gonna play more hillbilly and it's gonna look completely like from the back: Hillbilies over the next 20 matches in the row.
Why is she the first being changed? Why no LEGION since the community was asking especially for these killers to be changed?

Because those are really just value changes. Other killers need more time to look into.

They're easier changes to put live im guessing, I don't mind the wait as long as everyone gets their changes.

Because of outcry. The spirit was untouched for a very long time with not much complaints at all until some people and streamers claimed she was unfun after that it snowballed.
Don't get me wrong the changes were most definitely warranted, She wasn't OP but simply very unpredictable so I guess she could be considered unfun to go against.
I just hope the changes are a happy medium for both sides since they don't seem too bad of a nerf but we'll have to wait and see how she plays.

Cause someone hasn't found another perk meld that makes a killer excel in all of its shortcoming and be seen as "overperforming" yet. Inb4 hag is on the chopping block. Calling it now

Because the Spirit's movement speed was kinda op as well, it made me super irritated to look behind me and see the Spirit 5 ft away like "hehe boi".

It was bound to happen. Spirit's power is designed in a way that if they nerfed her to give direct counterplay she'd be outright a terrible killer but people still want to be able to know when and where she's phasing.

If they basically just gave survivors a completely obvious telltale her potential would drop beneath the floor.

Then it sounds like her kit needs a redesign. If giving a killer counterplay would make them useless, then clearly, their kit is fundamentally flawed in its design.

What do you propose as a change then that would keep her powerful but gives survivors this counterplay?

Or, hear me out, she has counterplay, but it's different from a regular killer. Just as a killer cannot outplay a survivor at low wall loops, so will Spirit be unable to outplay survivors if they get direct information of where she is. Her power is literally just an acceleration of her basic M1, it's not so strong that it needs direct outplay from having exact information.
