I have a CRAZY IDEA for those who had event/exclusive cosmetics!
Make those who already have the event/exclusive cosmetics Legacy versions and release the base ones for everyone.
So now Street Meg has Legacy goo all over it.

Basically Legacy 2.0, original Legacy owners still have their exclusive cosmetics, event/exclusive cosmetic owners now get a taste. Everyone wins!

Seems a bit redundant to add more exclusives when they're trying to get rid of them. Also seems like a lot of unnecessary work for the same reason.

to compensate people which have these cosmetics will go against the point of fighting the black market - the market will just be there not for the original cosmetic but for the compensation.

You do have a point, and honestly I have no real solution since the devs were so adamant about stopping the black market. Then again, keys are finite, they have to run out some day and if someone is willing to pay a stupid amount of money for a cosmetic for a game I honestly don't see the harm in it.

I think something should happen, I understand they're trying to fix the whole market situation and code selling but this is hitting the people who bought the codes very hard, the same demographic that they're trying to 'protect' from scams.
