New Idea For a Chapter: A Battlefield Of Clay
Chapter: A Battlefield Of Clay
Killer: The Golem
Overview: The Golem is an abomination created by the combination of human souls and clay that is driven by the intense hunger and will to survive. It's power, Clay Of The Unfortunate, makes it easier to control points of interest such as generators and also can help the killer catch survivors quickly.
It's personal perks, Force Of Nature, Survival Of The Strongest and Inorganic Rebirth aids it in the task of finding survivors and catching them as well as giving it some map control.
Appearance: A monster made of brown clay that takes a form that resembles a strong man. Even though his shape may make it seems like a human, his characteristics are minimalistic making it seem like his body was crafted by a small child. He has no neck, nor fingers in his hands and feet and his face consists of two small holes that symbolizes the eyes and a thick curved line that seems like its mouth, which constantly expresses sadness. His torso has five bulges that appear like extremely realistic human faces that seem in constant pain and despair, making it look like the monster had swallowed whole these humans and they were now trapped in the beast's insides desperately trying to get out. In the edge of his right arm, where it was supposed to be his hand, there's only the blade of a bayonet which it's grip seems to be completely covered by the clay of the The Golem's arm.
M1: A rusty bayonet on the edge if the Golem's right arm half covered by the clay.
Killer Power: Clay Of The Unfortunate – The Golem can place four miniature golems across the map. The miniature golems will stay completely static until a survivor passes by it's field of vision that consist of a medium sized area in his front in a shape of a cone. Once a survivor get spotted by the small golem, it will start to chase the fist spotted survivor.
The miniature golems are tremendously faster then the killer itself, but once they get get stunned by a pallet it will dismantle, ending the chase and allowing The Golem to place another one. If one of the miniature golem catch the survivor, it will become attached to them. Survivors attached to a miniature golem get the hindered status effect and their auras are revealed to The Golem when inside it's terror radius for as long as the small golem stay attached to them.
Survivors can remove the miniature golem by performing the “Remove golem” action, which can become faster with other survivor's aid. Removing the golem will cause the survivor to get rid of the hindered status effect and their auras can no longer be seen by the killer. However, removing the golem will cause the survivor to scream and get injured if they are in the healthy state, and also allows the Golem to place another one. The miniature golem is automatically removed if the survivor is hooked.
If a survivor who is already attached to a miniature golem enters the field of vision of another miniature golem, they will not be chased after the other golem. Survivors can also dismantle the static golems by performing the action “Dismantle clay figure”, but this can only be done if the survivors comes for the back of the miniature golem. Destroying a static golem will notify the killer.
Perks:
Level 30: Force Of Nature – Stillness Crows are more likely to appear above the survivor's head and can also be spawned when repairing generator for too long. With 3/2/1 Stillness Crows flying by the survivor's head, the killer will receive a notification.
“I've never seen something like this before. It's like an abomination created by nature. Wild, horrific and animalistic, but still somewhat human.” - unknown soldier
Level 35: Survival Of The Strongest – For each survivor still alive, the killer receives a 3/3.5/4% stack-able action speed increase. This bonus is applies to actions such as damaging generators, vaulting windows, breaking pallets and dropping and picking up survivors.
“I could see no malevolent intentions on the monster's aura, only a primordial will to survive at all costs.” - unknown soldier
Level 40: Inorganic Rebirth – Once per trial, the first active hex totem that was destroyed will spawn again in another spot 30 seconds after the original got cleansed. This substitute totem allows the hex perk that was destroyed to be active again. The substitute totem has a brownish texture and the cleansing speed is increased by 30/20/10% compared to regular totems.
“From the clay it was born, and to the clay it shall return.” - unknown soldier
Lore: Salomon Trevino used to believe that death was something that would never reach him. However, when an antisemitic party took over the government of his country and started to promote violence against his people, Salomon for the first time feared for his life as he received threats from the people around the city. The boy then fled from his home leaving his family behind without any warning, as he knew they wouldn't agree to free from Germany as they were proud citizens that once swore loyalty to the country. Salomon didn't like the idea of abandoning his family, but the fear of being killed screamed on his head and the only thing on his mind was to stay alive. At this state, he could only pity his parents and his brother from being betrayed by the ones they trusted.
The Jewish youngster, after facing a long journey, reached the countryside of Poland where he established a new life as the helper of poor farmer that agreed to hide him from the evil that was growing on the west. That farmer acted as a father figure for Salomon, as he did for many others that were also threatened by the Germans.
Since they all lived in the countryside, the farmer and the refugees didn't realized when the troops started to invade Poland. Salomon, when he was passing by the nearest town to the farm, was the first one to get the army's attention. Panicking, Salomon hid his papers and claimed the fake identity of Aleksy Kowalski. The German commander didn't get convinced by his lie, so in order to gain his trust and be allowed to flee, the boy told them about the farmer who protected Jews in his barn. As his claims was proven to be true, the German's army's trust was acquired. Although he originally thought that he would be able to flee after convincing the commander, the results were different. Salomon was now forced to become a soldier and fight for the country that wanted his dead body.
As the months on the battlefield passed by, he eventually met someone who ended up discovering his secret. His name was Noah, and unlike the others, the man showed no hatred towards what Salomon was. The youngster could not be happier to have someone he could trust in the middle of a crowd that wanted his blood to be spilled. Soon, they became more than friends, and Noah would often rescue Salomon during risky situations with the other soldiers of the army.
Noah then got shot in the battlefield during a surprise invasion from the enemy. Salomon only watched, trembling in the trench with too much fear to do something while his only loved one was dying with a bullet stuck on his chest. In the night that followed Noah's death, Salomon received orders to go on a mission that he knew he had no chance of returning. The boy that have reached so far refused to follow such risky order, so he tried to flee again, this time, from the army's headquarters. However, this time he wasn't lucky enough, and got shot on the back as soon as the guards noticed the defector running away.
Left for a slow death, Salomon, with a faint hope of survival, used his last strength to crawl away from that place. He crawled until his muscles became loose and he could not hold his breath anymore. He had reached the battlefield, the same battlefield where Noah died a while ago. There, he realized the truth. There was no point in surviving if your life had no meaning. Salomon then wished that he had never betrayed and abandoned the ones that he loved. With his last breath, Salomon took a small portion of clay from the ground, and from it, he crafted a doll shaped like a man. He then wrote the names of his parents, his brother, the farmer and Noah on the body of the doll, and on it's head, he drew a symbol that he didn't what it meant, but he knew it was powerful. He then prayed that he would be reunited with them all in the afterlife. He then died, holding the doll in his left hand and his gun on the right one.
After Salomon's last heartbeat stopped, the doll started moving by itself. It started to consume the clay on battlefield's floor in order to become bigger, and as it grew, the letters of the names written on it's body started to scramble and mix together, each one taking the shape of a human face. The symbol that was drawn on it's head took the shape of a simple sad face. The creature was now alive, and as it stood up and took it's first step, the monster and all of the faces on his body grunted in pain. The pain of so many souls inhabiting a single deformed body. The golem then took the bayonet of Salomon's gun and placed on the edge of it's arm. In the end, the desire that was passed to Salomon's creation wasn't the wish of being reunited with his loved ones, but the desire that took control of his whole life. Despite all the pain that the monster was feeling, it would still survive at all costs.

“This one I learned while hiking in Nepal's mountains, I will tell you that story later.” - Beatrice Gallagher
Lore: Beatrice Gallagher, being a single mother, always managed to take care of her three children and still do what she most loved, practicing extreme sports. She loved the adrenaline being injected in her veins, and she would do everything, from bungee jumping to go hiking on snowy peaks. She admitted that death crossed paths with her many times, but her natural instincts were her tool to keep her alive and she trusted her guts like anyone else.
When her children finally grew up and started to live by themselves, Beatrice thought that she could finally get some rest and dedicate her life to her passion. However, when her grandchildren came, she couldn't help it but to spoil them in every way possible.
On Christmas of 2018, she planned on reuniting her family at her house as she always did. However, her oldest granddaughter, that has just completed her seventeenth, asked her if she could bring her boyfriend to the dinner with her. Beatrice accepted the girl's request, as she was also excited to meet the lucky boy.
When they finally arrived at her house on Christmas day, she started to feel a strange feeling about her granddaughter's boyfriend. The boy was gentle and very polite, but she could see through it. Her instincts screamed that boy was dangerous. After the dinner, she argued with her son that, as a father, he should prohibit her daughter of dating such a person, but despite her warnings, her son said that his daughter's boyfriend was a good boy and that she was just getting old and shouldn't care so much about it.
Beatrice decided that if the girl's parents wouldn't do a thing, she was the one that would protect her. She offered herself to pick the girl on high school everyday and every weekend she would go to their house to see how things were going. One Sunday night, when she arrived at her son's house she didn't find her granddaughter anywhere. When asking her son where she was, he replied saying that she was at her boyfriend's house.
Without any hesitations, Beatrice got the address of the boy's house and ran to it as fast as she could. When she got there, the old woman broke into the house by the window. She started walking slowly, but when she heard the scream of her granddaughter, she ran with full speed to the origin of her voice. There, she found what she most feared, her granddaughter cornered in the living room with her boyfriend threatening her with a knife.
Beatrice then tried to hold the boy as much as she could, so her granddaughter could flee for a safe spot and then call the police. In the end, the girl managed to run away, but Beatrice got stabbed in her womb. The grandmother fell on the floor as she saw the aggressor running to catch her granddaughter. But she knew it was no use, the girl was already too far away to be caught. She then smiled as she coughed blood knowing that her death wasn't in vain. As her vision was blurring, she start to see a dark fog surrounding her and quickly healing her wound. She then stood up, finding herself around a campfire. She then realized she wasn't dead yet as she had more duties to fulfill in life.

Ability: I think the ability is very good and quite cool. Seems like a different version of trapper but I don't know how strong it will be till properly tested. The only thing I disagree with is the aura being shown while a golem is attached to the survivor. The hindred status already makes looping tough but the killer being able to see your aura through walls in a chase is way too strong. The auras should only be shown every 15 seconds for 3 seconds so survivors can loop fairly.
Force Of Nature: I like the idea behind this perk. Think it's good for gen rushing survivors and having only 1 crow give the killer a notification will help find survivors easier.
Survival Of The Strongest: This is a pretty good idea. Couple very well with bamboozle and brutal strength.
Inorganic Rebirth: Its a good perk and would help with ruin getting destroyed early. The only problem I have is that its useless without a hex totem perk. It is worthless when doing adept Golem. If one of the other perks were weaker I would have said create a hex totem perk to help this one but I really like the other 2 perks.
Bird Lover: This isn't a great perk in my opinion. If I want a perk to show where the killer is I'd use alert. It provides a 5 second aura and no cooldown.
Granny Knows Best: Might be good for new to rank 15 survivors but it's not good for green rank survivor and above. It isn't hard to hit skill checks and needing to complete a gen with a particular survivor first makes it tedious.
Old Tricks: I think the time is way too long, shorten it to 30/45/60 seconds. Otherwise I think it's a very good perk.
Hope this feedback was helpful. Some very good perk ideas and a good ability.
