Legion's rework needs a rework...

Legion is probably the most loathed character in the game and almost everyone despises his power, both from killer side and survivor side. "It's not fun" is usually what they say, but why? I believe it is because Legion forces the game into a passive "wait for status to go away, work on gens, get hit, repeat" scenario. It used to be because Legion's moonwalking exploit had no counterplay as well. BHVR's response was to make deep wound EVEN LESS viable and to give various tweaks to Legion and his addons. The reason people wanted to exploit moonwalking before was because it was incredibly satisfying to down a survivor with a status effect. Therefore, making this status effect Legion's primary means of downing survivors is a better solution as far as I can see.

I have a suggestion for improving Legion without putting him in a frustrating position: reduce base movement speed to 110%. Make Frenzy movement speed 125%. Inflicting deep wound adds the broken status for 20 seconds by default. Survivors cannot mend until broken status is gone. Survivors cannot be downed by the deep wound status while they also have the broken status effect, deep wound will just stop at 1% until broken is gone. Make deep wound timer 60 seconds and have it go down regardless of terror radius or chase status (mending still pauses the timer.) Deep wound causes skill checks to have a randomly delayed warning (similar to Huntress's Lullaby.) Every stab resets the mend meter. Make mend take 10 seconds. Keep missed/repeated attack stun on Legion. Adrenaline, Second Wind, and instaheal medkits will instantly mend survivors who have deep wound once they no longer have broken.

This would mean Legion becomes nearly inescapable in a chase, but that his chases would have an increased duration. You can lead the legion on a 40/60 second long chase VERY consistently and the Legion would still be crowd control oriented, but could not turn the game into a "hold r1 cor the entire match" situation. This would also mean Legion cannot abuse perks such as No Mither blocking mending under the new deep wound. Players with No Mither simply wouldn't be in danger of deep wound downing them, but their skill checks will still be harder to deal with until they mend. Legion would still delay gens with this power because of the randomly delayed skill checks causing issues for non-veteran survivors until their broken goes away and they mend. Movement speed reduced to steer legion toward having ~minute long chases.

Summary: Deep wound lethality greatly raised. Gen slow improved. Legion chase time raised. Legion lethality greatly raised. Incentive for No Mither and other broken perks.

Let me know what you think primarily in terms of viability for and against Legion.

I think (only personal opinion) is no fun that after hitting one survivor you gain literally anithing if you decide to not chaging target (for example if they are to far in big maps) and hitting the same survivor you hit. You have to change survivor or stop frenzy and chase the survivor you have hitted yet before. But that stop "momentum" and fun. It's optimal but not fun in some way... Mayba a little buff to that, because the legion is also not a strong killer...

But that's exactly one of the reasons they changed legion in the first place. He took a long time to down you but he was inescapable. However he is also not in a good state either, I personally don't think he even has a power to be honest.

True, but this guarantees that your chases will be 2/3 of a generator worth of time. It gives him a major counterplay in gen rushing, but also means you can't just safely ignore the deep wound status because the timer is always going down. The major problem with his rework is that is neutered deep wound so bad that there isn't even a reason to mend anymore.

I think Legion is gonna be like Ryze from League - a bunch of (sometimes small) reworks every now and then.

legion only need second hit to down people while using frenzy skill and make his frenzy never stop except stunned or end of duration... maybe only that....
